To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

North MacedoniaThe receptionist looked at me all the time, like I will leave the hotel without paying my booking. They felt afraid and insecure all the time that made my stay uncomfortable. They commented my credit card expiration date, despite of asking them to pay cash in advance. I don't know about their bad experiences with clients, but for me that was not hospitality.

Excelent Location and the Hotel was fully equipped with all facilities that is expected. Additionally it is right near to the metro station.

RomaniaGood location, very close to the Rogier metro station, a very good option when travelling to Brussels and have to reach multiple destinations. The room was spacious and spotless clean. I didn’t have time for breakfast (it was not included in the cost of the room anyway), therefore I appreciated very much the coffee machine in the room. I had breakfast on Saturday, before leaving, and it was reach with options and nice. There are restaurants in the area in case you are late with dinner.

United KingdomAsked for a twin room and confirmed this twice by e-mail and a phone call the day before arrival but was offered a double bed that didn't split with two duvets, reception did not believe that the bed would not split, eventually moved down to 4th floor where there are twin beds. Not happy after a 4am start to be given wrong room.

SpainWhen I arrived the heating was set at over 30 degrees and had been pumping for some time, so the room was unbearably hot, and the windows don't open. The towel holder for the hand towel was broken so there wasn't a clear place to put it.
Very conveient location for the north Rogier EU cluster (the Covent Garden, etc). Rooms are clean and big and the views are often excellent as the building is well over 20 storeys high.
