I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pousada Solar dos Deuses, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was met with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the delightful breakfast. The pousada not only offered a local dish but also presented a tantalizing selection of fresh and delicious fruits. It was a refreshing departure from the typical hotel breakfast, and the attention to local flavors added an extra layer of authenticity to the overall experience. The room itself is simple but it was cozy. I took amazing pictures from its balcony. What truly sets Pousada Solar dos Deuses apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The level of service provided was nothing short of amazing. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their genuine friendliness and eagerness to assist created a welcoming atmosphere that made my two-night stay truly memorable. The location of the hotel proved to be another highlight. Conveniently situated, it offered easy access to local attractions, dining, and entertainment options. Whether I was exploring the nearby landmarks or simply strolling through the surrounding area, the central location of the hotel added a significant level of convenience to my stay. In conclusion, my time at Pousada Solar dos Deuses was a delightful surprise that exceeded my expectations. I left with a sense of gratitude and a 100% certainty that I will return in the future.

If you are searching a quiet place, you better choose another Pousada.

The Rooms are all individual decorated. The staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is served in the room and varies every day.

I would absolutely recommend the stay. The room looked just like in the pictures, very clean. The location is super central, easy to walk around, observe the historic places, shop for souvenirs or go out for dinner/drink. The staff is super helpful, speaks english very well, is attentive and also gives great recommendations regarding what to see or do, and how to realize further plans after leaving the accommodation.

Location directly on one of the main squares in Pelourinho, which could be a blessing or a curse (if you want to go to bed early there is a lot of noise from the square), beautiful colonial rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff that speaks english.

Great location near the square. Your right near all the activities. Listen to all the music from the balcony. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. In room breakfast with many choices to eat. Couldn’t ask for more of a hotel in a historic age building.

The wifi service was up and down, but they were modernizing their equipment when I was checking out, so this should be resolved soon.

The room was fantastic and the breakfast served in the room was reasonably priced and copious. Marcos, Sandra and the rest of the team were lovely. The view out onto the Largo do Cruzeiro de São Francisco from the 3 windows in the room was the cherry on top.

Impossible to be in a better location in Salvador - right at the heart of the action in Pelourinho, everything we did was walking distance (max 10 mins)! The room had everything you would need, very big, good AC. The staff were super proactive, giving absolutely fantastic recommendations, and helping us to arrange a taxi, etc. Really warm, friendly, and efficient! Would highly recommend this pousada, and would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Salvador!

1.need a better maintenance even though its old buiding 2 breakfast is delivered to room but i prefere eating a meal(buffet style)in different space,restaurant

this was my second time at Solar do Deuses and this was better than the previous one. the room is very comfortable right in the middle of Pelourinho near to great restaurants and point of interest (such churches and museums). it’s important keep in mind that is a historical building so there are some restrictions, such no elevator, but it is a magnificent place to stay.
