Not having a place to fill up my water bottle was frustrating. Instead, we needed to buy plastic water bottles every time we needed to drink. I felt that drinking water should be included in the price of the stay, not to mention the waste of plastic with every guest buying and using small plastic bottles every time they needed to drink.

My Brazilian husband and I came here as part of our honeymoon and loved it! The pool is lovely and warm, not too crowded and the perfect spot to watch the sunset in the afternoon. The private beach was great - it was lovely to get professional photos with the fish there too. We also went on an organised trip to some nearby islands, organised by the resort. It was well organised and we loved the boat ride and the stops along the way. The toucan and macaws were a great addition to the resort as well as the gorgeous little rabbits. Rooms were cleaned well each day and new towels were provided daily.

The food and the staff were simply amazing. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and do their best to facilitate your needs. The breakfast was simply incredible. Waiters Eduardo and Lidiane were very kind and helpful. I will recommend Villa Pantai to all of my friends and family and definitely want to come back.

I was surprised not to see any solar panel for such a large place. The birds on the property seems to be approved by Ibama, but they should make clear how the got there....it is never nice to see birds inside a property.

Facilities were really nice. Friendly staff :) and really good food. They have light and healthy options as well.

The bed seemed like there were 2 twins squished together so there was a hard section in the middle. While not a dealbreaker as you can sleep fairly well on each side it’s not the best for cuddling and watching tv.

The breakfast spread is one of the best I’ve ever had in Brazil. The grounds and gardens were gorgeous with bunnies and toucans. The staff was super helpful and accommodating.

The Hotel only sales small 300ml botles of water which means a huge consumption of plastic everyday. Any quality hotel in Europe now.provides a filled water station where you can fill your water bottle from clean water filter.

Perfect family holidays surrounded by beautiful nature only one hour drive from Recifes airport. Very impressed by the quality of its staff from all levels of the organisation.

The room has thin walls and I could actually hear everything in the other room. The person in the other room was putting music at 7 am everyday so it was not nice. The room was also with ants and i tried to put a towel on the door to try to stop it, but it didnt work much.

The beach is amazing, you have everything you need in the resort. The staff is very helpful, the buffet for breakfast and dinner is very good and has lots of different kinds of food. The menu for lunch (which was paid apart) has food for every kind of taste and the food is unreal! You also have options for sports and trips (paid apart aswell). The pool has a more shallow part for kids and a deeper part for adults.

Construction, no water at times , large animal in our room

First I’ll say that I’m not overly picky as a person . I’ve traveled alot and don’t expect perfection . Service was great . Pools were awesome. Beach wasn’t bad (I live in a place with world class beaches so I have high expectations for beach . This beach is not bad ) There was construction while we were there so every day there was no running water for several hours at at time. Usually starting around 10am and sometimes lasting until mid afternoon . No flushing toilets and no sinks or showers during that time . Room was good but we had to move the beds a couple times (more on that in a minute ) and it was obvious that no one has cleaned under there in a very long time. Not a big deal because we don’t sleep on the floor . Now the big problem we had. A couple nights into the vacation we had a visitor in our room . Turned out to be a timu (possum ) . Kept us up all night . Jumped on my 11 year old niece and mother in law . Had to have maintenance come in but they couldn’t get it . We were leaving the next day anyway so we didn’t switch our room . I will say the hotel manager was great and made it right for us. It didn’t ruin our vacation and would recommend this hotel to anyone even with the issues we had . I’m sure it was just bad luck on our part but thought I’d leave an honest review .

Not geared to international traveller at all, even less so than other resorts along the coast. No foreign languages spoken by staff. Food selection at buffet limited to Brazilian taste as well. Food at restaurant, however, very good but at extra cost. Rooms could use update. There was construction at the end of our building which meant noise at 7 a.m. from the construction workers going past rooms with their noisy carts and conversing loudly. Also,the housekeeping staff started working with loud conversations amongst themselves early in the morning and left patiodoor unlocked.

Beautiful beach with natural pools, reefs and very warm and clear water. Easily accessible. The sunning platforms with roof and loungechairs available without extra cost. No music at beach, which is unusual for Brazil but was very welcomed !

Poor service (eg, hotel-arranged transfer arrived 1 hour after our flight, reception unhelpful, poolside orders often forgotten), basic rooms, average food (and cheap not to include soft drinks in half-board, not even water)
