Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room for our 3rd day ( I had 2 separate bookings because wanted to live 1 more day) is in the first floor, very small, and uncomfortable, although with the same price! I feel something wrong in the decision of the hotel in our case because when I came to the office that morning to request living the same room, the staff checked the hotel computer system and agreed, but right after we came back our room, another staff called us to request us to come to the office again. When we got there, the main staff requested us ( with the translator staff) to change room with a not really nice attitude. It made me feel this decision came from her bad mood . I totally did not feel happy!
Location is safe. Close to restaurants. The staff allowed us check-in early because my room is available at that time. The front desk lady (who can speak English) was super nice! Thank you so much! The room for our first 2 days is in the 4th floor, big and comfortable!

United KingdomWater in the pools was too hot to cool down. Nice restaurants were a bit of a walk away. Public bus to Iguazú falls takes about 1h
Lots of swimming pools, nice rooms, huge breakfast buffet, helpful staff, good public bus connections to all local sights

United KingdomThe breakfast was a bit chaotic. Felt more like a canteen t than a restaurant.
Great location, warm & friendly reception staff. Having the tour travel desk open 8am-8pm in the reception was a bonus.

ItalyThe pool is quite small and the water was too warm for hot weather outside.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked fine and was not noisy, the breakfast had many different options and was very good, the gym had many different machines and tools.

BrazilThe frist night was not good, as the air conditiong was making terrible noise. But after asking to change my room, guys didn't hesitate to do it, so problem solved. The room's soundproofing is not so good, so be prepared to hear people talking in the corridors, during the night.
The breakfast is amazing and the staff is really polite.

South KoreaNot many restaurants to go to nearby. It had two single beds joined together to make a double. The height of the two beds was different, and the body tilted, making it uncomfortable.
It is near the bus terminal, so it is easy to move around, and there is also a large mart nearby. And the breakfast, where the manager comes out every day and replenishes the lack of food, is great.

United KingdomThe general area the hotel is in is a bit ‘random’. Not many good restaurants / bars nearby. In fairness that’s not the hotels fault, the whole town seems a little unprepared to cater for tourists, surprising given there’s little else going on locally than tourism
Very good value for money, breakfast included was very good and plentiful. It was nice to be able to charge a lot of small items to the room within the hotel

ChileI was surprise that the level of English or Spanish spoken by the majority of the staff and the travel agency. This made life harder, but only a minor inconvenience as several members at the desk spoke a good second language. The rooms are small, much smaller than standard. However, the price is good for the quality of the hotel, the cleanliness and the facilities. The noise level is higher than normal hotels (probably due to the room size, however not a major problem)
Good value for money. The hotel had a travel service that helped book the tours of Iguazo Falls. This was very helpful. In fact the prices are much cheaper than tours on Trip adviser/Avaiator. Good breakfast and air conditioning in the room.

Francethe tour desk told us that if we bought Iguazu entry tickets from them it was the same cost as on line , but this was not accurate and we paid Brazil real 52 more for two tickets from them than if we’d bought on line or at the gates of the national park.

IrelandNobody spoke English. The hotel has a travel agency inside and we had to use google translate for nearly 20 minutes. It was frustrating. One could argue that we should have Portugese but they should know that many English speaking people travel here. I had to get up early to go to Iguazu falls. When I got back to hotel sweating and tired, I asked could I book a room for a couple of hours to shower and relax before my late flight. It was mentioned that we could do this. They gave me a price of 20 euro for a room which was more expensive than my whole night there Scandalous and this really angered me. All they care about is making money. There was no empathy from.the lady at the desk.
The room was comfortable and clean. Very close to the bus terminal.
