Our stay at the Xalés de Maracaípe was great - staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Location is amazing, you can walk to the Pontal on the low tide and to the Maracaipe river to enjoy amazing sunsets. Our room was extremely cozy and clean and breakfast very diverse with fresh fruits and delicious pastries and tapiocas

Everything was very clean and well organised. It was a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Great location on the beach. Good breakfast and menu at the restaurant. Safe pools for the kids. Good security. We would definitely return.

Such a lovely spot away from crowds of Porto de Galinhas! Spacious and green, villas loosely scattered around providing personal space and privacy. We had a deluxe double villa which was rather luxurious. Comfortable bed with beautiful ocean view. The resort was quiet without music which makes you more connected to the nature. The beach access is easy and no vendors are present there. A very relaxing place!

We loved everything! Beautiful location, beautiful rooms, very clean, all facilities were good and food at the restaurant was good and the breakfast well served. It's possible to stay there and never leave the pousada because there are a lot of activities to do.

There were no irons available for use, only an iron long service that the venue charged per item of clothing that needed to be ironed. The wristbands were also an unusual touch; but it sure they had reasons & perhaps have some guests that were rather unpleasant.

Location was absolutely perfect. Special mention to Josefa from Housekeeping: her handwritten notes each day were a fantastic touch & although we never never even met, she is a fantastic ambassador for the hotel. We also received plenty of information via WhatsApp which is a convenient way to relay information & the opportunity to have complimentary photos taken was also a great touch.

The pool would sometimes be a bit dirty. Maybe the staff could clean it a bit more frequently. The food options were also not great and sometimes would take a while to arrive at the table. On the first day, one of the staff members even completely forgot our lunch order.

We loved the chalets! We enjoyed the shower, the bed and space in the room. The breakfast buffet was okay, had the basics available for what you expect from a breakfast buffet. It's very nice that the area itself with the chalets is very nicely set up and kept clean. It makes for taking great photos too. Check out the photographer at the accomodation in case you are looking for a nice photo shoot ;) If you ever get tired of sippin' cocktails with a view of the ocean, enjoy a nice walk on the beach which is just a few meters away from the chalets. Location is a bit remote from the little town but I think that is actually part of its charm. So if you are looking for some place quiet, relaxing and by the beach with great views, go for it! It's kids-friendly too.

Breakfast is very good, with a lot of variety and you have the option of ordering tapioca which is freshly made. Sleeping listening to the sound of the sea is incredible and the facilities are very good. You feel like you are in paradise!

It was all good

The place is really quiet, immersed in nature and very peaceful. At night you'll sometimes see horses roaming around free, palm trees everywhere, lots of deckchairs right in front of the ocean, comfortable cabanas and a sense of serenity throughout. The staff in all departments was excellent, nice and available at all times. The room/chalet was comfortable and of the right size, had a cold/hot shower (not a given in Brasil). The breakfast in particular was amongst the best we've ever had, an immense choice of salty and sweet options, great fruit and cakes and even complimentary champagne 😊 Same goes with the caipirinhas and beverages in general, served really cold and made on the spot. It takes only 7-10 mins by car to get to the town center and it is soooo quiet because it's not at the centre of the action. The views are magnificent in the morning inglese with the sun rising and in the evening for sunset. A truly great experience

The xales are rustic and might benefit of some restauration. A new split for the air conditioning would be less noisy. Offering a kettle to heat water for a tea or a coffe machine would be most welcomed and it is offered in less expensive posadas in the area.

A couple of the beds were very hard.

The check-in was easy and our room was ready early. We had two lovely houses with two bedrooms, which were as pictured in the listing. The breakfast was delicious and hearty. We loved the pool right near the beach and appreciated the pool side service for food and drinks.

We absolutely loved staying here. The ground is huge, so there is a lot of open space and it's right in front of the beach. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options, other meals we had at the restaurant were also great. If you cross the street and go down to the left, you arrive in a little port where little boats leave for a tour. I definitely recommend going before sunset. The boat driver (jangadeiro) called Junior is the nicest guy! He will take you on a tour at the mangue, show some of the local animals (also sea horses) and it all ends up at the beach for sunset, that you can watch from inside the water while sipping on a caipirinha. Can't get better than that :D

I don’t have nothing to complain, the location is big, you can stay a little bit far from the beach, but nothing to worry about.

The property is amazing, you have everything you need while staying in Porto de Galinhas, all the infrastructure required is provided and the staff is very friendly and comprehensive. The food at the restaurant is good and you don’t need to leave the premises if you don’t want. The highest point is the view and location: very calm and right by the beach. Breakfast is also vey complete with lots of options.
