Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe inside of the hotel needs updating, safe was broken, the AC unit was very loud and there was a hole in the wall leading to outside. Our room was next to the kitchen so we woke up around 5am to loud noises.

United States of AmericaThe pool was closed all week. No one bothered to mention it at check-in, and it was not available the entire week. This resort has Atlantis privileges, but I am not able to get myself over there and the crowded environment would have been treacherous to navigate. Actually, I wouldn't have minded so much except when I departed i left a complaint on my "comment card" pointing out that it was a disappointment. I am really bothered that management did not even bother to give me an apology. I guess they just didn't care. Consequently I am done with this resort. There are plenty of others.
I have been to this resort before. The staff are amazing. I am somewhat mobility challenged and they all stepped up all the time to help me get around. The breakfast is good and the evening bar/dining scene is friendly and sedate. It was exactly what I wanted

United States of AmericaRooms really need updating. Air conditioning could be better. Pretty much anywhere you go in a cab is $40 min
That daily breakfast was good, nice offerings. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, compared to other places around which were very expensive.

United States of AmericaThe beds need an upgrade from the spring mattresses. And it would be so much better if the wristbands for Atlantis were given out at the hotel instead of the guest services at Atlantis.
All the staff at this hotel are amazing. We look forward to our visits here. The property is in a great centralized location, walking distance to the pools, aquarium, beaches and restaurants. Tanika is so sweet and very nice. Loved having her as our room attendant.

United States of AmericaAlmost $500 extra in taxes that we were not informed about prior to checking in. Booking.com gave us $999 total for 4 nights, and then the hotel tacked on fees out the wazoo. After those fees hit it made it not worth it to stay there. Stay on 3rd floor otherwise it is loud. The rooms need work. Our ac looked like it hadn't been cleaned out in months, the sliding door to the patio didn't work, the closet door was off the hinge, and the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work.
Great location, Atlantis access is across the street and there's restaurants in walking distance. Wifi was fine and staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThere was no mention in the booking about having to waste so much time saily to get Atlantis wrisbands access and having to walk so much to access the beach. The facilities are out of date, the deskfront staff is not very pleasant, breakfast is very simple and they charge a ridiculous amount on extra charges for an already expensive rate that does not match ehat they offer

United KingdomThe room had a ‘meaty’ smell and it was so dated, everything looked so old and even the ceilings were still in the popcorn style. The breakfast wasn’t consistent, every day it was a different variation and for someone that doesn’t eat eggs, my options were limited. The shower pressure was really bad too and the AC was so incredibly loud so we couldn’t sleep with it on. The room is so dark as well. The long mirror in our room had what looked like a pimple splatter across it which was disgusting. The walls dividing the rooms are so thin that you can hear what’s happening in the room next door
I liked that it was close to Atlantis and that we got free daily passes and free breakfast. The bed was really comfortable
