When I checked-in upon arrival, I asked for a 4:00 a.m. wake up call. I was informed (not clearly at the beginning) that the hotel's automated wake-up system did not work and that the hotel could not provide a wake-up call service. Because of some miscommunication, which was later clarified, I was informed that the night desk clerk would telephone my room at 4:00 a.m. to wake me up. Sadly, the room's alarm clock did not have have an 'alarm sound' just a silent flashing light when set for the desired wake up time. In my view, the hotel should provide alarm clocks that actually do what they're suppose to do. It was suggested that I use my cell phone's alarm -- that's fine if one owns/uses a cell phone, I don't!

I chose this hotel because it's conveniently located very close to YUL Airport. A mere 5-minute free shuttle drive to the airport. The room was comfortable and so was the bed yet both the king size bed and the 'spacious' room appeared smaller. Perhaps that was just my impression?

No food at the bar. The cook did not show up. Very disappointed. I was looking forward to to chicken wings and a glass of wine which I had before. Fortunately, Jaber, the barman, offered to order for us from a restaurant nearby. We really appreciated it.

The offer from the desk clerk to enroll me as a member of Marriott Bonvoy.

There was no communication about the airport shuttle. It was not clear where or how to get this. I tried to call the hotel when arriving but got cut off and diverted to a main company operator who couldn't help me. We found out afterwards, how to get the shuttle. But this information could be delivered to guests before staying.

I've always enjoyed the Aloft design of their rooms and the quality of the stay. This was no exception

Staff could have been more helpful. I arrived at 1:00am after a long flight. Not very attentive. Saw me struggling with my luggage. No offer to assist or provide a cart to help transport it to my room. Other the. That the rooms were spacious, clean and modern decor. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Times provided for the airport shuttle were a little off/inaccurate and the on-site restaurant was closed.

Wowsas - after a long international flight, we had a dreamy sleep. The bed was super comfy and the room was soundproof with black-out curtains. Funky decor in the rooms, great shower and a fantastic, well-equipped gym for a pre-flight morning workout. We appreciated the later check-out & it's a quick shuttle to the airport.
