There was a lack of hot water in the morning for a proper shower. What was billed as a "hot breakfast" only offered waffles and toast as hot items.

It would be very easy for them to have a card in the room explaining the complicated TV setup and how to get on the wifi. They had a nice sitting area but the gardens around had been totally neglected. Overgrown shrubs and weed up to our waist!

The breakfast was one of the best motel breakfasts ever! No bacon or sausage but very other breakfast possibility was there to choose. Great coffee! Poached eggs, waffles, toast, jam, food bars, fruit....just great

Cleaning could be better in some areas. When I pulled the switch to turn on the hanging lamp, my fingers stuck to the ball at the end of the chain. Since I had wipes in the car, I used two of them to clean this one little thing. I used others to clean the remote for the TV and the phone. They were also pretty dirty when I finished. Lighting in the room could be better - they use low-wattage bulbs, which I understand, but makes it hard to see, and really hard to read.

This is an 'old-style' motel where you can park right outside the door to your room. Though it looks a little dated on the inside, the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and bright and updated, with a long counter to put toiletries. The room had a full closet as well as a luggage stand, so lots of space to put your things. The room also had a fridge and coffee maker. The front desk loaned me a kettle to boil water for tea. The free breakfast buffet was good - make-your-own waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, juice boxes, etc., so plenty of choice and no one needed to go hungry. The cost for my room was less than it would have been if I'd stayed at one of the inns in Annapolis Royal itself, which is a few kilometres away.

If showering in the morning the water pressure would become extremely low after about 5 minutes and then the water would shut off. It was difficult to have a relaxing shower. The beds were double not queen so sharing a bed was crowded.

Breakfast options were amazing! A wonderful assortment of foods to choose from.

Annapolis Royal Inn is very conveniently located (4 minute drive) to a number of nearby museums, parks and restaurants. The property is quiet, very well maintained, and has a nice heated outdoor pool. Hot Breakfast was excellent with several options to choose from. The Belgian waffles was our morning go to. Staff are very courteous and caring. This is a great little inn to stop at during a visit to the beautiful and history-rich Annapolis Royal.

Water pressure was a problem when showering during busy times.

Reasonably priced and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. We enjoyed the pool with our kid.

Nothing we can think of.

Everyone was friendly and polite. Brian, the breakfast manager was courteous and helpful with the variety of food for breakfast. Noticed he even prepared waffles for elderly guests and even heated the hard boiled egg in boiling water. The office manager Paulette, was very cooperative checking in and out.

Just two things made me feel uncomfortable. Here they are: there were two gops of gum on the floor that I noticed just behind the nightstand; and, the handle on the toilet was broken. You can clearly see a piece missing. These things say “sub-standard”, but should have easily been taken care off.
