We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Extremely friendly. Ideally situated near the river, gardens and the town centre. Excellent food with good service. Very quiet but clearly also very popular with local people as well as guests - a good mix. Wonderful room with every comfort possible. Restaurant staff very helpful with a dietary condition - went out of their way. Clean and bright and a very happy stay.

CanadaWe paid $35 plus tax over and above the regular price because we were travelling with our dog and booked it well in advance of our trip yet we got the absolute smallest room in the hotel. Day time receptionist was unpleasant and unhelpful (night time receptionist from France was friendly). Only 1 electric car charger. Restaurant is not very good. There is nothing charming or welcoming about this hotel. A better reception from the staff might have left us with a better impression of our stay.
The room was clean. Restaurant was open past 9:00pm even though it wasn’t good and staff could desperately use some customer service training.

CanadaThere was a problem with the price of the booking. I knew this when I booked. But the only resolution the hotel offered was take it or leave it. I offered what I thought was a generous offer, and was told that I either had to pay for my bookings and try to collect the money prepaid to booking. Com, or else I could sleep on the street. Since when does a store or anyone else make you an offer and then just say or sorry. If I had to cancel my non refundable booking because I could no longer travel, would I get my money back? No way, yet, the owner of this establishment felt she had the right to just forget that I had a non refundable booking. And when I asked to speak with her. She was right there in the same room, and left without engaging in a conversation with me. This Is a nice hotel but I will take my business somewhere else.
It really is a nice hotel, but the issues with the owner, make it impossible for me to return. Total disregard for the customer.
