눉There is no on site parking and difficult residential permit parking. There is free on street parking overnight and a municipal carpark about 5 minutes’ walk away which is $5 for 24 hours and is probably the best option. The AC is only in the rear (small double) room and you need to leave the windows open to keep the larger queen room cool. Plenty of fans were provided but we really needed them even in early June, so if you feel the heat this might not be the place for you in summer. There is a hairdressers downstairs which is busy and a lot of coming and going. One issue is that the heating and water is controlled from the owner’s flat downstairs (he was cold and put the heating on one warm evening making us really hot upstairs until we complained). The bath was good but the shower a bit feeble.
눇This is a spacious light first floor apartment on a busy shopping street but in a really good residential area with lots of leafy streets off the main road. There are two good bedrooms and a full kitchen/diner which are pretty well equipped and they provide linens and cleaning materials as well as a few odds and ends like tea and coffee left in the cupboard. The location is close to the Beaches boardwalk and right on the 502 bus route into Downtown, at least until 6pm. The flat is quite quiet even though it is on the Kingston Road as the double glazing is good. They provided a computer for internet access with a printer which wasn’t and couldn’t be connected so might as well not have been there! There are reasonably good wifi connection options. We didn’t use the TV. Washing facilities are via a launderette 4 blocks away. There are plenty of cafés and takeaways locally as well as post office and convenience stores. The nearest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk however. The location is good if you don’t mind not being central and the transport links are frequent. It is good value for Toronto bearing in mind the above reservations.

눉They did not have cable TV, only Apple TV. Seemed like all the channels were by subscription and you needed an Apple ID which we did not have. It was during Pam Am Games and we were disappointed not to be able to watch the days review of the games.
눇Good location, close to beaches and easy to get around from.
