Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe AirCon (A/C) stopped working on day 3; the other electric stove did not seem to work. Neither was critical for our stay but I would imagine both not working could be problematic for others.
At the top of the list is the world-class service. Every single person we encountered exemplified gracious hospitality. The hotel was also nearly immaculate—kudos to your housekeeping army! Lastly, the hotel was situated perfectly in terms of its proximity to the sights and sounds that define Vancouver but set back enough from the hubbub of Granville to make for peaceful evenings. Big plus is that there were two Tim Hortons within two blocks of the hotel!

CanadaHot water takes a long time in upper floors if hotel is less occupied. Minor inconvenience like the safe lock was jammed and no operating instructions. Broken shelf in the fridge.
Great location,10 minutes walk from downtown conference centre where I need to go. 15 to 20 minutes car ride from airport except rush hours.

CanadaSome reviews mentioned that there is a hospital near the hotel, and the sound can be annoying. However, I felt okay during my stay, thinking it was a common city noise. Nonetheless, the room's soundproofing wasn't very effective, especially if your neighbor plays music or speaks loudly.
Friendly staff: We arrived early, and the front desk allowed us to check in early. We requested a high-floor room, so we stayed on the 28th floor, and the view was beautiful! The bed is comfortable and clean, and the bathroom, while not too big, is sufficient. There is a simple kitchen available with amenities like a microwave and cutlery. The location is good, near a bus stop, and you can walk to a shopping mall in 10 minutes.

CanadaBut in The same place it was very loud. Windows are very thin. And nearby the emergency station so you have to be a very good sleeper to stay there. The steam room didn't work.
It's great that it is downtown and easy to get to any restaurants. Amazing view from the 25th floor to the city.

CanadaThe only complaint would be I wasn't able to find the sauna. The website said there was one but I didn't see any signs for it. I expected it to be near the pool but I wasn't able to find it. (I did not ask any staff so I probably wasn't looking in the right place)
The staff was excellent and very friendly. The cleanliness was great. We also showed up early expecting to need to store our baggage until checkin time but they arranged us a room right away. Overall a great hotel

United KingdomNothing.
The hotel was well located. Due to injuring my knee we were given an upgrade on our room which was appreciated as it gave us a larger room. We were high up giving us great views of the city. We had a problem with the heating which was resolved within 10minutes after putting in the request. We ate in the restaurant Ibi the evening, the atmosphere was great the staff very friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous. My son enjoyed using the gym.

United States of AmericaElevators were pretty slow and small for how big the hotel was. The bed sheets were really rough, almost papery and noisy when adjusting in bed. There was an issue where the fire alarm went off for the entire building at 7am, but that is a one-off issue that I am sure doesn't happen often, just bad luck.
The room was large and felt like a bedroom apartment. Great view of the water, too! Was in a good downtown location, so much of what I wanted to do and see was in walking distance. Also loved the robes, really soft and warm. The hotel also has a great eco friendly option for forgoing room service and either getting credit for the coffee shop in lobby (which was also a great shop!) Or to donate the credit to a charity. That impressed me immensely

AustraliaOne of the beds was way too firm. It's an old building and could definitely use a facelift. There wasn't much leg room in the bedroom or the bathroom. The stove was old and the oven racks were covered in foil, making it hard for the heat to distribute properly. The hospital is practically next door so the ambulance sirens are constant.
The views from the balcony, its location, the size of the suite. The kitchen amenities.
