The couch and bed were a bit lumpy but still comfortable and because it’s an older build, it still smells a bit musty but all-in-all it was a fantastic stay! We really enjoyed the room!

The motel was close to Campbell River and we had a great view of the ocean. The bathroom was updated and we had great water pressure in the shower with lots of hot water. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, a fridge, microwave, oven/stove and coffee pot. It was a great room!

Very friendly owners. When we asked about changing to a ground floor room, she showed us both an upper floor and lower floor and let us choose the one we wanted. Room was equipped with stove, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker and had all the cooking utensils and dishes and cutlery you would need. Clean and tidy, with wonderful views of the bay. Nice walk down to the beach, right on the bay (if you're willing to climb up and down the steep stairs). If you're looking for a Hilton experience, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a modest, clean, quaint and friendly place to stay, this fits the bill, and is reasonably priced for such a high demand area.

Being the hottest summer ever, we could have used a fan, or air conditioning, but the screen door and window helped a lot.

The view is incredible, with stairs down the ocean cliff to the beach. The linens were wonderful, and finding a kettle was a real treat. Thanks you.

The amenities overall weren't so comfortable - it would be pretty challenging to have a long stay.

This motel has a yard with stairs leading directly to a STUNNING piece of the coast. It is gloriously beautiful and totally deserted as well. The staff were also extremely kind.

Internet connection was dropped for a few moments every few minutes.

Quiet location and a very well equipped kitchen made our stay a delight. When you have your own transport this is a good place to stay. Staff was very helpful and attentive. TV with cable and sat channels.

The layout is great however it could use a little updating. The light fixture had bugs in it plus I did see an ant trap in the bedroom and found a few ants crawling on the floor. I realize that they are trying to control the situation with the traps. A couple more teaspoons plus a cutting board would have come in handy in the kitchen but I still managed. I was told to let the office know if there was anything I needed and I did not ask for these items so it may have been my lack of communicating.

The location and staff were great - very friendly and a convenient location. With the highway so close I was really surprised that you did not hear the traffic more - sheltered by trees. Also liked to be able to see the ocean. I was greeted upon arrival and the check-in process was very easy. I would stay here again.

Getting to the beach was very difficult.

No AC or fan available during a hot day. The room was pretty unbearable and we had to keep the door open for airflow.

The view was beautiful. The rooms are dated but clean and lots of room. We did not use the kitchenette. Safe area, the owners were very nice. Very cute.
