A variety of rooms were available, and ours was on the smaller side (bigger options like cabins were available) Great pub for dinner and then kayaking in the bioluminescent water at night!

The shared bathroom facilities were unclean, backed up toilets and a constant running shower making the floor slippery and toilets unusable.

Didn't have water in Dome. Didn't have outside tables for each dome. View obstructed by trees. Neighbouring domes very close. Outside common washrooms not very clean.

The restrooms were dirty and old as well as A LONG way away from our "room". It would have been nice to have an idea where to get some breakfast. We didn't know what to do with our key when we left.

The cabins are so cozy with a fireplace the best gateway I had in a long time . I liked that I could cook for myself and nearby is a great hike. I highly recommend Backeddy Resort .

This property is in a gorgeous location with friendly and helpful staff. The pub grub is perfect after a day hiking. Try to book new cabins , the lodge is pretty basic but all in all a fantastic alternative to properties double the price.

Coffee machine didn't work. Loud campfire music past midnight just below our cabin. They played good music. Just a bit late in the evening as we were traveling the next day

Maybe the parking lot feeling right behind the geodomes could be improved and one does have to share a washroom and shower. The Backeddy Pub is an 'outback' feeling of remote being also right on the water. People should not be looking for luxury when booking here but a serene, magnificent view of what the Coast has to offer and, in the domes, a simple lovely refinement for travellers once they step inside their door.

The location is unmatchable. We stayed in the geodesic dome which was not my first choice as I thought of it as a tent. It was NOT a tent but rather an amazing structure that had a full magnificent view of the water, islands and mountains and a window that was bigger than any other bedroom window you might find. So glad we didn't have the option to opt for the older hotel structure. We knew it was going to be somewhat rustic and it exceeded our expectations in the best way possible.

Liked everything. One suggestion is to install gates on the cabin patios so we can keep our little creatures secure and off leash!

The location and pub are the best in Egmont! The cabins are private and in a great location. Waugh lake is close by to paddle board. Great to kayak or paddle to see the seals!

There was nothing that I did not like. For the price that I paid I was perfectly satisfied.

We were in a room. There are three types of accommodation - heated tents , cabins and rooms. we had a great view of the inlet and the dock and a very enjoyable place to sit in the grounds overlooking all the activities. The resort was active but pleasantly quiet . There is a pub which operates from 12.00 - 8.00 p.m. with a well balanced food menue, prices for meals are reasonable ranginf from $C12-$C24 per item , servings were substantial. The dock is the the departure point for trips , there are numerous types of trips on offer. This place is an absolute gem in my opinion.

I only wish my room were cleaner! My deck and room unfortunately appeared to have not been cleaned well enough. I discovered hairs on the bedsheets, sticky countertops, stained carpets and ceilings, cobwebs and so. much. dust. :(

Calm and serene location steps from the ocean. They phoned me ahead of my arrival to explain the late check in processes and welcome me! Restaurant/Pub on site. Friendly staff. Easy check in and checkout.

cabin we stayed at is too old, needs some maintenance. the kitchen and shower are old and tiny, leaky sink and broken toast. the lights turned on by itself a few times in the middle of the night :O
