I didn’t love how small the new hot tub is compared to the original one. There is only room for 8 people in the new hot tub versus about 20 ppl In the original. Still a nice view and relaxing but it’s weird how CRMR cheated out on the hot tub.

Our room was cozy, we lit a fire, it snowed and the view from our balcony was stunning. The Reno’s in the dining room were beautiful. Food was delicious as usual. Our sever needed more customer service training or should maybe be placed in a position that better suits his personality.

The room temperature was inadequate. Our initial room was extremely hot even after the door to the outside had been left open (in winter). We were moved to another room. This second room was extremely cold. We kept the wood fireplace going all the time to address this.

The ambiance and staff were excellent. The setting was beautiful.

I'm not sure if it was just our room but it was excessively hot in our room the entire time we were there - close to 30 degrees celsius all the time. It was unbearable, even for someone like me who is always cold, and we were there in February in middle of winter. Even when we turned the temperature completely off and turned on fans it never cooled down. After a sleepless first night we called for maintenance on the second night and they were prompt and professional. It never really cooled down though and I didn't want to call again in the middle of the night so we had to leave the balcony door open all night in order to sleep. Unfortunately, while we were visiting the internet went down due to a train derailment that knocked out a cell tower. This was totally not the fault of the lodge but the way they handled payments was extremely poor. After driving all day we arrived at the lodge late in the afternoon looking forward to relaxing and checking out the property. At reception, we were told we had to go to Lake Louise to get cash because the card machines were down at the hotel or we could not eat at the restaurants. I asked if we could charge to the room and pay in cash the next morning instead of rushing out just before supper to get cash from a machine in another town. They were insistent that if we did not have cash we would not have food (supper or breakfast the next morning). So we rushed to the town before our dinner reservation and the roads got dark. When we were at supper we found that they were allowing people to charge to the room and our hectic 1.5-hour trip to and from a nearby town was completely unnecessary. I was really annoyed by the the hotel's response as this created unnecessary stress and put a damper on our stay. I felt they could have been more understanding and willing to work with us at least until the next morning just as we were understanding of the issues that they encountered with no internet at the property.

The views and location of the Emerald Lake Lodge were amazing and it is definitely a place you want to stay at least once in your life. I liked all the amenities at the main lodge like the dining and lounge areas and especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The restaurants served delicious food and we enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet which had a wide variety of items. It felt like we were in a quaint village and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the lodge. The wood fireplace in our room was wonderful and we loved the cozy feel. Staff were generally pretty helpful and we received a super quick response from maintenance when we asked about an issue with the heating in our room.

We did not have our room cleaned for the whole day that we were out. We left early in the morning specifically to leave enough time for the cleaning staff to clean. We arrived back at 430pm and the cleaning staff arrived at 5pm to clean our room. We were very unhappy with this. We were getting ready for dinner reservations at that time. We asked for them to just freshen our towels and make the bed while we were at dinner. They did not do this,

Lack of WiFi in cabins.

You can’t beat the location, it really has the wow factor. Cabins having an open fire is a lovely touch. Staff a super friendly and on site restaurants are fabulous.

Our cabin had very little heat. Instead of warm and cozy we were chilly. The tap took 90seconds to produce hot water.

The location is glorious and the main buildings are comfortable and offer adequate seating to take in the views. Food was very tasty but overpriced

Unbelievable location and layout, so quaint, quiet, and sophisticated! Main lodge is beautiful and full of history, food was exceptional, and the bar/lounge is absolutely awesome!

The room we stayed in was in a great location on the property and the bed was very comfortable. However, the carpet was frayed and stained, the sink had a huge crack in it and the door to the room didn't close properly. Also, approximately 10 days prior to our stay, I received an email from CRMR announcing that the hot tub was open for the winter. Alas, it wasn't open and it wasn't in April the last time I was there.

The setting is spectacular and this was my third time visiting. The main lodge and Cilantro are beautiful. I always appreciate the fireplace in the room and the incredible peace and warmth of the property. The food is top notch and the staff very welcoming.

Another wonderful stay! Very cozy cabins with fireplaces, excellent restaurant, very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was being renovated, but once that is done, we will definitely come back!

I did not like the fact that there was no WiFi in the rooms. That would elevate the experience even more.

I loved the quiet cozy feel of the property. It was secluded and very intimate. The scenery was stunning. The food was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite.
