The ski hill was still open and the Farimont management was treating the week like it was the off-season. The inside pool was getting painted and the floor that we were on had construction. Even though it was on the other side of the floor, the service elevator was across from our room so there was constant movement and talking. The workers did not close the doors on either side so there was a lot of noise (they were doing demolition) and dust from the drywall removal. The hotel rooms are old and do need a refresh. The room we stayed in was clean but it was not 4 stars.

The staff was amazing. Ever person that helped us was lovely and went the extra mile. When the fridge froze all of our items they changed the fridge and replaced the items immediately. Love the ski-in, ski-out of the Fairmont and the outside pool is always great

Stephanie at the front reception desk is phenomenal! She welcomed us to the hotel in such a warm and friendly manner. When we checked out, she was at the front desk again, and just as nice! Stephanie even had a bathrobe sent up to the room for my son. The hotel itself is lovely. We come for special occasions and for the outdoor heated pool, and the wonderful and friendly service!

The hotel needs tlc! It is very dated and shows a lot of wear and tear. The common areas, mostly the bathrooms, were dirty 24/7.

As a family we really enjoyed the property, its location, the outdoor terrasse and the entire staff is truly amazing.

It’s definitely a bit outdated but at the same sone it reminds us that this hotel has its own history. I also felt that buffet breakfast was overpriced $40 per person , plus tax , plus tip , almost $60 Canadian $ per person !!! Especially when I am not so hungry in the mornings.

Location, i like the size of the property. It’s quite specious, loved the pool and sauna. Quick walk to all local shops and restaurants.

The price should include breakfast. I wanted to swim outside but the pool was under construction. The shower in our room had a bit of mold on the caulking.
