The room is very crowded. The toilet is very low, bring your own toilet riser; it was extremely difficult for myself, (have a walking disability & a balance issue) to get out of the tub - my husband had to help me!? I would suggest - 1) remove the carpet which will make it easier for a walker, wheelchair; remove 1 of the beds.

The owner needs to know they are lazy and what they provide is like fake news. A few corn flakes - shows how cheap they are and do not care. What’s it cost them 5 cents ? Lousy effort like many others unfortunately. Maybe they are all owned by the same cheap corporation. I suggest try harder be creative dare to be exceptional !

Place needs major upgrades. Had to stop toilet from running twice after use. Tub needed replacement. Pillows thin.

We chose not to eat there. We were told that breakfast that we could pick up and take it back to our room. Not acceptable.

I didn't like that our room wasn't that clean. I found hairs in the shower, the toilet had spots on it. Found hairs inside the bed when I uncovered the blankets to check and there was no extra toilet paper inside the bathroom and the toilet paper roll was half way gone that we ran out the day we left.

Bathroom light switch was broken;1/3 bottom half missing exposing the inside workings/wiring and if you didn't know this you could easily stick your finger inside and get a shock. Mention this to the front desk and was told ...oh isn't there tape on there? We are unable to get a new cover right now because the local hardware stores are out.. The motel provides a simple breakfast (Cereal , muffins) but needs to store the milk on ice or in a fridge not just in a jug on the table.

Some maintenance issues nothing broken, just not working well any longer, in the bathroom. Over-all impression of low re-investment for the cost of staying here.

A roadside Motel that needs some up-dating for the price one pays. It was clean and the beds were ok, but all of the interior could use some refreshing.

The bed was ok for a single night stay. It would've been too hard for me for more than that. The room was a decent size. The bathroom could use some repair - the tub surround had holes where the grab bar had been removed & not replaced and the bottom of the tub was soft in spots.

I booked a 3-bed room because that was all that showed on Booking, but they were able to change to a 2-bed room, for $20 less! Location was good, right off Highway 1, but far back enough that not a lot of road noise was heard. Front desk staff were great.

We did not expect this property to be so "old" and "outdated". .. especially after seeing pictures of the facility on the website. The stain in the bottom of the tub was a disturbing turn off... the shower head barely worked. The beds were comfortable, despite the NOISY mattress. The heating/AC unit did not work properly.,

For a ONE NIGHT stay in Golden, this property was well located... just off the Trans Canada Hwy. WiFi was free

The front counter lady was very crusty. The a/c didn't work. Plug ins need to be replaced. Hot tub was out of service. The Google map was wrong.

The rate is good. The room is clean. Free ice. Parked in front of our room, a must with motorcycles.
