It was easy to hear neighbours talking til 2am and no hot water if neighbour using it.

The customer service at this accommodation should receive a 10/10. While no breakfasts (or meals) are provided at this location, I really enjoyed my stay at the Kings Inn in Midland. The room felt safe and secure and was very clean and quiet. The washroom was spotless and had a bathtub and a shower, which worked perfectly. There is a microwave oven and a mini fridge, both were immaculate and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was very easy, the owners are lovely people and make you feel welcome. It was obvious to me that the owners have been making improvements to the original property and they really care. Should you have a question, they answer right away. I had a car problem (an almost flat tire) while I was staying there for two nights (I was working at the Midland Buttertart Festival) and the owner was concerned and told me he'd get an air pressure machine to fill up my tire in the morning, which I really appreciated. The owners are lovely people and this accommodation, while it's very affordable, is a great place to stay. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the fancy places offer, but they provide great customer service and they care about their guests. I will definitely return next time I am visiting Midland.

First time in Midland for my husband and I. Charming and friendly town. Will definitely come back in summer time. Nice little Inn. Very cleaned. Staffs making sure we were happy. Upgrade us to a bigger room because our was not ready when we arrived. It was quite nice of them. The only thing missing was coffee machine in the room but not a big deal. Simple and comfortable. Would return on our next trip.

There was no tub plug in the bathroom. We had to request one. There was no towel rack or hook on wall to hang a robe or your clothes. We don't want to put our clothes on the toilet or floor or outside the bathroom. The bottom of the tub was very slippery. There was no heat in the bathroom and the 3 inchs that was cut off the bottom of the door is not allowing the bathroom to warm up. There should always be a hand held shower head for proper hygiene. I reserved a room with one queen bed and a small table with two chairs. But got two beds one chair and a desk. No one wants to sit on a bed all the time. I sure don't want to eat on the bed. If there is a reason your room layout changes you should be told upon arriving and if possible given what you expected. There should be coat hooks near the entrance not on the only rack where you have to hang your bath towels and clothes.

Clean, comfortable and well organized room. Everything worked. Finally a solution to "Do Not Disturb" signs that fall on the ground. Their's are magnetic :)

Since it is on a ground and people are walking in front there should be curtains too so you can pull them during the day instead of being in the dark if you want privacy. It would be nice to have a kettle too.

One can see it is newly renovated. Very clean, nice size of the room, good position, close to everything (downtown, lake, shops)..

The only negative issue was that there was no Breakfast or light breakfast offered. We had to leave the location to get any kind of meal service.
