Old, run down rooms, no toiletries in the room (shampoo and lotion, no conditioner, no blow dryer). Service came in and provided towels, however did not make up beds.

The room was old and rundown. The door to get into the room was very hard to open and close. The lights on the nightstands were connected with multiple long extension cords. The hotel needs a major makeover.

Our room was comfortable as usual but we notice some things need attention - wallpaper peeling, curtains with holes and lightbulbs missing. The hallway decor was always shabby/chic style but this is changing to an unmaintained & actually dirty look. The edges of the dark hallway are definitely not being vacuumed. We weren’t sure they were serving breakfast because the diningroom was in darkness. We will consider all of this before we stay here again. It seems there is new ownership or management and they need to take into consideration what is the expected standard of cleanliness in the area. We were also disappointed to learn that the live music is only every second weekend.

Our breakfast was fine. Our room was the usual one that we have had for several previous trips - big, comfortable bed. Dinner Friday night was very good, very generous servings and waitress was very pleasant.

Wi-Fi was poor. Entire town required to boil water because lightning strike destroyed UV water sanitation system. Restaurant did not open until 11, so had to find breakfast elsewhere.

Accommodated our bicycles inside. Takeout dessert from restaurant was excellent.

Although the room is dated, it is quite clean. I would recommend ditching the old comforters that are clearly not washed between every stay. Other than that, You get what you pay for, and we were happy with our stay!

Old building that needs renovation. Outside stairs were somewhat rickety, needed to be swept of debris. Interior smelled musty. Bathroom cramped. One bedside lamp was broken. Room had no cups or glasses available for drinking.

Good location, easy walk to downtown and other amenities. Air conditioning worked well. Good hot water in shower.

Everything in room needed to be dusted! Floor was cleaned except under bed which had layers of dust. Did not appear that staff knew how to put on a bed skirt or fitted sheet.

Need professional and regular housekeeping and cleaning. Various hallways dirty and pullout bed was filthy. Bed was bowed out and slept at an angle to avoid falling off. Other furniture and facilities have not been reinvested in.

The outside wooden stairs were rickety and slippery with when it rained. Hot and cold water were mixed up in the shower.

We liked the location because it was walking distance to the town and lighthouse. Quiet and could hear loons that were in the river.

Accommodations (facility) was dated and not well maintained room. Not a good experience with internet, blamed on server, but had multiple passwords for access. Great free parking lot.

Great dinner menu, bar & staff. The seafood chowder was amazing.

Other than the bed being made up very nice, all the other furniture needed to be wiped and dusted. When I went to move the one lamp, the base was stuck to the end table surface with what looked like a spilled drink. The batteries in the remotes were very weak and only worked part-time. When we hung out our sign for the room to be made up, as we were staying two nights, nothing had been done by 5:00 p.m., so we went to the front desk for clean towels and coffee mugs.

The bed was very comfy and the pillows were very good. The inn had character, and the attached restaurant had very good food.

Broken door handle on inside. When I advised staff and questioned if I would/could get locked in, I was told they knew about it and not to worry.That they could get the door open if igot locked inside..😑 Coffee pot in room did not work. Room looked like it was cleaned in a hurry.( streaked mirrors and water spots on chrome in bathroom), the bed was a king size mattress but the box spring was a split boxspring for a queen mattress. There was about a 6 inch gap between the 2 box springs so when laying in the middle, u sunk down in between because of the gap, beer cans around property in plain site that I watched staff walk by and instead of picking it up, just ignored. Was still there when I checked out. Soft spots in the deck which made u feel unsafe when walking. Over powering scent of febreeze in room upon check in. Should be using unscented cleaners to clean. Lots of people are allergic and some just don't like the smells of cleaners and sprays. The property is starting to get a bit outdated. I personally don't mind outdated as long as things are cleaned properly and everything is in working order.
