No hair dryer, shower wasn't that great. Room was a bit chilly. TV did not work right.

Location is AMAZING. Super convenient for people who love the nightlife. Easy to walk to the metro, bus station and bars. Lots of groceries, depanneurs and pharmacies around.

Room was very clean and well presented. Loved the hard wood floors and the bathroom a lot! Everything was modern and clean with the appropriate amount of amenities.

The cleaning lady was super nice and whenever we asked for something, she gave it. They do not clean the floor and that is little bit upsetting.

The location is excellent. Everything is nearby. The hotel staff are so gentle and helpful. The front desk person: Yannick; helped us to make a tour plan in Montreal city.

The first room had a rat so I have to move the second one the sink was leaking from the bottom so they have to fix a few things even though hotel is modernized. The city has to clean the streets.

The room could have a better shade so one can sleep. It is too bright when the sun comes up. They should add blinds that could make the room darker in the morning when the guest wants to rest some more.

There was a leak on my sink that caused water to accumulate below the sink. Obviously, the building is still under renovation so they may fix this. The shower handle also comes off. Again, still under renovation. But the location is great! Everything is accessible on St. Catherine St. Food, shops, bars etc.

I was there for 6 days and my room was never cleaned during my stay. Not even bed made. For the price I expected to at least get a quick daily refresh. However, I never asked if they could do my room... but should be mentioned in the listing that consecutive days will not have room cleaning. Some of the areas around the hotel are a bit sketchy, but as a solo female traveler - I never had any issues. Pretty quickly I learned that it was safe and normal if you keep to yourself. The hotel is older which makes for some nice charm, but the updates on top of everything was really just a Band-Aid. Also because of the older area and large city they do have rodent issues that I was told they are actively managing. There was no coffee in the room, but there was a Keurig in the lobby where coffee was available for guests 24/7.

Location was great near the tourist attractions and transit. Walking distance to most things downtown. There is a IGA grocery store with alcohol very close and a few restaurants/fast food. Staff were very professional spoke English and always eager to assist. Loved having a microwave and mini fridge in the room to cut down eating out costs. Bed was comfortable. Updated decor. Luggage storage.

I would have preferred a few more basic kitchen supplies (cups, plate, cutlery, kettle). There was also a mouse in the room that I saw when I first got in. Which was ah... not ideal. I let the staff know and they offered to move me to another room, but where honest in saying that it was just as likely to have them.

Privacy was good, bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

Doors to rooms are metal and very loud when being closed. I tried to pull our door shut slowly but it still made a loud clunk. Most people just let their door shut on its own and it made a loud slam. We could hear people walking and talking in the halls very clearly. Hotel doesn't have carpeting which is good for being clean/less dust my opinion, but I think it made sounds louder. I would definitely stay again, but I would use foam ear plugs for sleeping. Also, bathroom did not have a place to hang large towels, only small hand towel rack. No shower curtain or rod either.

Room was clean and modern. It was small (and the desk wasn't functional because it was too close to the bed) but it had everything we needed. There was a small refrigerator and microwave and AC but we didn't use any of those this time. We did use the safe in the closet. Bed was comfortable and towels were very nice. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. Location was great for visiting downtown and Old Town. We walked or rode Bixi bikes to Old Town, waterfront, and Biosphere.

Hallway carpet not clean. Large garbage bag full of I assume bedding. The room didn’t make sense. Two beds, two bathrooms, fridge, microwave, no sink. Lots of cupboards.

I didn’t really like that the staff asked my friend a lot of questions when she came to meet me. I felt like I was staying at a Dorm, no guests. No breakfast included. I couldn’t close the window shade (until it was fixed) I needed it for privacy, you look into other building’s windows. There was not a lot of light. Area is a bit sketchy but near Berri Metro station.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.

The sheets could have been newer or less pills in the fabric it was a bit uncomfortable because of the bedsheets

Staff during daytime hours were a bit rude and unprofessional. One woman used her hand to avoid eye contact while sitting behind the front desk. Staff ignored us while socializing and swearing loudly in the lobby.

Modern renovated lobby and rooms, the dark haired woman behind the desk in the evening was lovely and helpful.
