Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe room was hard to regulate the temperature as the door was not properly sealed for winter conditions. This is easily fixed. The mattress was comfortable, but the frame was too small for the mattress, so it felt like you were falling off the edge.
Size of the room was great with ample seating other than the bed. Very clean. Staff very friendly and spoke French and English. Good coffee in the room. Very convenient location. The bedding was so cozy.

CanadaThe past two times we have been put in the back of the motel, definitely shabby by the garbage. The frig cut in and out all night. The body shampoo was rancid, no conditioner and the container not cleaned. One bed was missing a flat sheet and a blanket.

This was a travel stop over for us and we were pleasantly surprised at the room in every way. Recently upgraded and very clean and well appointed. We did not get a chance to experience the place beyond checking in and going to sleep but it was exceptional value.

CanadaThe sign outside said “We speak English”, but staff barely spoke English. At first they said they couldn’t find our reservation, but they eventually did find it. And then they asked how many beds we need, even though it was specified in the reservation. Seemed very unorganized, but turned out okay in the end. Shower curtain was not waterproof, and water pressure in the shower was too high.
The room was comfortable and clean. We were looking for a convenient, low-cost hotel, and this was a good deal that met our minimum requirements. Parking spot directly outside the room. Convenient location on our travel route.
