nothing in particular, the room was clean and always had clean towels.

I needed to be downtown and it was perfect for me. Bed was also very comfortable it did not have those typical soft spots because they are old. Restaurant staff were all very nice.

Valet parking only in a location with only street parking otherwise. Not ideal for guests with cars and who are traveling. Valet parking should be included. Rooms were good but definitely older and in room AC unit was loud.

Bathroom was tiny and the hotel rooms were pretty dated. Historic hotel yes, but good do with a refresh especially the bathrooms.

My room was smaller than expected. It was a nice place but your staff are too judgmental and stuck up. I came from 3 weeks of taking part in adventure camping tours travelling through the USA and Canada, and fancied a bit of luxury to end my amazing trip. Obviously after all the camping, I didn’t look my best. On entry I felt judged for my cheap clothes and tired appearance, them likely assuming I couldn’t afford to stay at your hotel. Keep an open mind. It’s not just those who wear designer clothes who have money

Our room's bathroom door is hard to open. Our room location was not I expected. The view was not seeing the city, my son didn't like the view cause it overlook the pipings of the building.

Room was small and the hotel generally dark and a bit dated. Very clean and comfortable but glad we had left our two large suitcases at the airport.

Excellent central location next to the Calgary Tower. A la carte breakfast was very good and better value than the buffet.

We could not get anyone to answer the phone. The front desk was always very busy and it was hard to get answers. They were working very hard, looked like they could have used more staff/ counter space.

Our room to the rear of the building overlooked the train line and there was noise of trains all night. Understand ithe hotel was historically built to service train passengers but better insulation against the noise is needed. Our earlier stay was to the front of the building and no noise problem.

My wife and I took breakfast in the restaurant and the waitress rushed us through the celebration as we we’re obviously tourists celebrating having the leisure and the means to do so. This in comparison to a business group of three who were given all the time in the world to complete their business.

Had some issues overnight with the water in the bathroom, which was explained in the morning by the concierge - but perhaps we should have received notification of the issue. Such a charming, historic building it would be nice to have more common areas to sit and hang out, not just the bar or (extra) lounge.

Lots of small touches - the huge toiletries bottles but also bars of soap, info available on the tv, pen and paper on the big desk. The pool and gym, steam room and hot tub were beautiful and even though we didn't use the spa, we felt super relaxed by the atmosphere. Super location to all the good stuff in downtown Calgary.

Fan in bathroom was extremely noisy, toilet flush broke late on our second night.
