The room required a few more amenities like hair conditioner with the shampoo and a blow dryer was not available. There was a bit of unfiltered noise , more than a newer hotel gets. Room services would totally 💯have made my stay on Saturday night after a long day.

I thought it was clean and noted the updating of the hotel throughout. The location is very central and convenient for shopping and concerts.

The fridge on the second night didn't have a freezer. They should all have one. Not being told the difference in bed size when booking a second night on short notice. Not that we would have said no, but it would have been nice to have been told.

The first night was with two queen beds. The second night which was not planned was with two double beds. Not a big deal as I didn't think about asking for queens on the second night. I just asked if our room was still available. I think the person when I was booking could have seen what we had the night before and ask us about the bed size. Other than that, all was good. I like the little kitchenette they come with. Small and simple but a great addition to have if needed.

The cleaning staff opened a window. As we checked-in during evening time, we didn't see the open window and closed the drapes. This resulted in the night being cold and we didn't know until the next morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facility looked like it has been renovated and refurnished. The room has a big bed, big tv, air con and heating. It looked clean. The location was great, we had easy access to downtown and nature!

Our room was clean, spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. The hotel location is near Mayfair shopping centre about 3mins. drive. or atleast 15-20mins. walk. About 23minutes drive going to Malahat Skywalk.

The room was on the smaller side (I guess one gets what one pays for though), the layout could have been a little better. I can't see being in a room without a table, but the table blocked the door and it was hard to get things in and out. I'd have loved to have some wine glasses (eh, we love wine, what can I say? but it really tastes better in a wine glass!), but other than that, we had all we needed, although we didn't really try to cook, so I'm not commenting on the pots and pans availability, and there was a nice glass top cooker, microwave etc. and one could get more coffee/tea when you wanted it, which was great!. The bed had a hump in the middle, which made me want to drop off the side lol, but other than that it was comfortable enough. The room felt really hot, there was a "window box" aircon, but it was loud and not very effective, this is something I'd really take a serious look at if I were the owners, it, more than often, makes or breaks a customer coming back. Loved the staff though, you were great! <3

The room was really nice and clean, the staff members were all awesome (keep them!). I loved that there was a restaurant and a liquor store right on the premises, we could have a lovely couple of glasses of wine with dinner and not worry about driving home! <3 The restaurant (we had dim sum) was great and the food delicious and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

The bathtub is old, so it's very shallow. I am kind of a person who wants to soak myself in a bathtub, especially in wintertime. It's very tough for me.

The hotel is very close to Uptown. So I was able to buy some groceries for meals. The rooms have stove tops and fridges, so I cooked a lot.
