We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Location was close to where we need to be and when I needed extra towels/hair dryer/ garbage bags, the receptionist/manager attended to it right away.

CanadaStaff was not readily available, nor friendly, nor knowledgeable about their own facility. It took over 25 minutes to check us in with an already paid Booking.com arrangement. Then have a stupid phone system where you lift a receiver to call someone but don't speak into it. The instructions to do so are not easily visible. The staff had to check two times to ascertain which room was available, and when we finally got to the room it had already been occupied! Door was unlocked and open, and bed was unmade, as if just used. When we returned to the desk again the staff was not readily available, and then they did not believe us, but took another 5 minutes to go check, only to tell us EXACTLY WHAT WE TOLD THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. The room had been occupied!!! They should have just believed us and immediately provided a new room key. Instead a whole new process was started with the staff disappearing through a back door to get authority or permission or whatever the heck they needed to get us another room. Finally we got a new room, with the promise ("On my word") it would be quiet (there were various seedy people being ESCORTED OFF the premises as we were settling in). To add insult to injury, AFTER 11:30 p.m., they booked in a family with kids running noisily up and down the stairs and bouncing on the furniture in the room RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO US. Just as sleep was starting, the stupid alarm clock went off at 12 midnight. RIDICULOUS!!!! The trim around the bathtub was moldy as well. Terrible place, will never use them again.

CanadaThis motel is breakfast included, but they just serve coffee for breakfast, when I talked to the staff that coffee is not a breakfast, the answer was we don't serve full breakfast. They should clearly show in their website and booking.com that breakfast is not included. I checked in at 10 PM, reception was sleeping and woke up. When I went for breakfast at 8 AM again reception staff was sleeping and woke up and told me he will prepare breakfast very fast. In fact, it was not breakfast, it was just coffee.

Canadaafter checking in and heading upstairs, we opened our door to realize our room wasn't finished being made up. it was like they realized they were short on pillows, ran out to get more and got sidetracked, leaving pillows thrown on one bed and not the other. the sheets had stains and pills, the sham had burn marks on it (both on same bed), and the bedside table had a burn mark on it as well. the other bed wasn't stained however the sheets were pulled and worn. we left around 8a (30 min after breakfast was supposed to start) and there were no signs of breakfast in the dining room. they don't have someone sitting up front all the time, so you have to use a phone at the front desk to call and get someone to check you in. both photos are from the same bed - burn hole in the sham, and droplet stains on the fitted sheet.
the price was right and it was right off the highway. thought it would be a good spot for a quick stop on our way across BC. front desk staff that checked me in was friendly.

CanadaThere was a blood stain on our pillowcase, the drain in the tub didn't stay open so if you took a shower, the tub would fill with water, and the lamp on the desk would flicker like crazy if you even looked at it.
It was a safe place to land for the night. It was comfortable and warm.

The price for a single king bed was ridiculous. I’ve stayed there before a few years ago and it was great not sure what has happened to make it go so bad.

CanadaThe entire property was so old I couldn’t tell if it was dirty or just badly in disrepair in some areas, the beds and pillows are most likely from when it first opened, the room I stayed in was apparently one of the nicer rooms and it had wall covers hanging from the wall, the fridge barely worked, the a/c unit had a broken panel lid. They don’t have towels in the room, You have to ask for towels when you check in even on a longer stay.
The front desk staff was super helpful, unfortunately that was really the only think I liked about my stay
