That was no reception when we arrived as was stated on the booking. We arrived & needed to ring to get a room number & a passcode. Fine if you have a local phone hopeless without.

Position cleanliness

Very quiet modest motel with very helpful staff.

Room was outdated, some broken electrical. Shower was at about 5' so I had to do a back bridge to wash my hair.

The back splash had some food at the back and the tub did not drain from a shower

Newly renovated clean floors , easy access , lots of space dis not smell

It’s an older motel and the room had a bit of an old furnishing smell. Maybe new curtains or fresh paint might help. This was not a huge issue though.

A good location steps from the beach and walkable to downtown.

Check in procedures were terrible for us as there was nobody at the reception desk and I couldn't get the on-line check-in procedure to work on my phone. Finally somebody opened up the desk area but he said he didn't usually work there. Then we couldn't find the location of our room (upstairs in a dark corner that couldn't be seen from the parking lot). We had booked an extra room, but there was no way to cancel it when the couple we had booked it for couldn't come. I still don't know if we had to pay for it or not.

The location was great. The bed was comfortable.

Shower curtain was a bit dirty.

Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything. It’s an older motel like all the others along the strip. Don’t expect perfection but for the money well worth it.

Location was short walk from South Okgn Events Centre. Room rate was reasonable. Several restaurants close by. Staff were accommodating.

The rooms aren't great, but they do the trick. If you want an inexpensive stay with a great location then it's fine.

Can't get a better location. Super close to the beach and restaurants.

Great location, roomy rooms

Not clean . I think "studio" infers a kitchen or eating area. There was no difference between a basic room and studio. We were told that we would get fresh towels and coffee ect. Replenish That didn't happen

The sign on front of motel says indoor pool, but this place has not had an indoor pool for years. I think its false advertising.

Couldn’t get in our room until 4pm. Internet didn’t work first day. Silver fish all over bathroom. Bed sheets did not fit on the bed properly.

The location is the best part.

We have stayed at the Spanish Villa for several years and always come back because of the great location. This last visit our room was tiny and the air conditioner was so loud. While there have been obvious updates, the cleanliness wasn’t as good as it has been previously.

You can’t beat this location! Just steps from the beach. Easy walks to downtown and restaurants.

The fan in the bathroom is terrifyingly loud and the mattresses are extremely bouncy/springy making it tough to sleep with your partner in the same bed since you can feel their every movement. Thank goodness we had two beds! The lighting is fluorescent too which isn’t great or comfortable for the eyes but can be a simple fix.

Would it be possible to have a broom in the rooms because it would help so much to maintain the room when all the sand gets there. It was hard our bathroom faucet was not working and the fridge the first day was not working.

The location is great. A bit disappointed our too Door was broken. Do enjoy they close the back door at a certain time.

Dirty floor in corners of bathroom (piles of sand), huge closet but no rod ( broken) to hang clothes, sink was clogged but they fixed immediately 😁, bathroom door needed a wipe down. The table with coffee maker on was very wobbly and coffee maker not clean. Was a small 5 cup coffee maker but coffee packages and filters ( not packaged and just sitting loose) were for a 12 cup coffee maker. Fortunately I could fold the filters to fit and discovered pouring just 1/2 of the grounds from the package into the filter. No spoons or stir sticks for the coffee. Huge room could've used a coffee table in front of couch. Got a call on our way up at 11 a.m asking our approximate ETA but not sure why as room hadn't been touched when we arrived just after 2 p.m. Upon arrival, receptionist said she'd ask housekeeping to do ours next and told us to come back in an hour which we did but housekeeping still hadn't begun cleaning yet so had to wait another 45 minutes.

Loved the friendly staff, amazing location and our humongous room. Appreciated the daily text messages asking how our stay is. We will stay here again.
