The location was amazing. The parking was very convenient. The rooms reminded me of England. The service was excellent. The bar and atmosphere were fabulous.

A queen or king bed would have been more comfortable, though the double bed was comfortable and the linens were high quality

The bar closed quite early.

The location was absolutely beautiful... Particularly during fall. We attended a wedding there so it was great to be able to head back to room at our leisure.

You have to take breakfast and dinner in your room. There is no dining room in which to meet your friends. The weather was very cold, but even if we had wanted to go out to walk somewhere for lunch, there are no restaurants or shops nearby. That can also be nice, but the hotel had nothing to eat outside the breakfast and dinner hours - such as snacks - anything.

Hotel and room were wonderful. Large bathroom. Very quiet.

Not much to do other than walk the garden. No complimentary breakfast. No pool or hot tub. Had to walk far to the car to go out and find somewhere else to have dinner as restaurant is very pricy. Even room service. Bed was not comfortable, had the old spring mattress and pillows too soft.

We like the old feeling (Tudor style). We liked that check out was 12pm even tho we checked out at 9am. The room and washroom was very nice. Was a nice size.

Bit pricey, breakfast at the hotel was expensive so I didn't bother with it. Room a little dark due to tree blocking out light.

Fantastic location, out of the city but close enough to go anytime I wanted. Hotel staff were fantastic. Room was great and a good size for a weeks stay. Very clean.

The bar/restaurant menus are a little light on options. The water feature of the hotel which is heavily advertised on their website was not functioning which took away some of the magic of the stay but these are minor complaints.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Our room was spacious and the bath with water jets was a nice surprise! The bar staff were great and very quick to take orders. The setting is beautiful.

No English Breakfast tea available. Breakfast late one day which made us late for appointment. Explanation about continental breakfast wasn’t clear.

Patient staff at desk helped me get my boarding pass printed. The bartender/waiter was very pleasant, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. The continental breakfast included with the Booking.com booking was surprisingly nice, with very fluffy croissants.

It was a shame that the bar was only open from 5pm-9pm, as we were still out in the city during this time. The only dining options were room service which we didn't opt for.

Charming and beautiful hotel with a great location. Even though it is a little further from downtown, it was really easy to get the subway in from the green and yellow lines, and easy to get to and from the airport. The area is quiet, but the hotel is round the corner to the subway and bus station, and you can walk or take the subway along the green line along Bloor St West to restaurants (Jane, Runnymede, High Park or Ossington stations). Our room was spacious and comfortable, and included everything you would need in a hotel room (coffee machine, hairdryer, toiletries etc). We slept well and would definitely be back if we visited Toronto again. Highly recommended!
