It was really hard to find the entrance to the hotel. The room is obviously designed for people younger than me. The open bathroom is ridiculous, though fortunately I was on my own and there was a proper door on the shower so you didn't get water everywhere. The lighting system by touch pad was infuriating, especially to avoid blinding yourself in the morning. I never did figure out how to turn on the mirror light without turning on all of the lights. Good ol' light switches would be wonderful. Room worked for my business trip but I'll avoid W hotels in the future.

The room was quiet and fairly spacious. The location worked well for me, being at the subway station.

The first night was uncomfortable, because the air conditioner would not go low enough. Then they switched rooms and it was much better, though they still have some type of Governor that does not allowed to stay cold all night. It was so much better.

Design is clearly for young. Lighting is terrible designers terrible. There’s no function. It’s all right to be cool and slick but the design just doesn’t work.

Not sure if the staff is trustworthy, because I left a pair of sunglasses on the bar counter and in less than an hour it was missing and I was told “no camera is facing that direction” when I inquired.

The aesthetics were nice, as well as the resultants/bars on the property. One particular staff member went above and beyond (I wish I remembered her name).

Skylight was amazing and the drink vouchers we received as a wedding gift was awesome. And the bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean.

The lobby is on 6th floor without clear sign. I had to ask around to find the check in desk. Loud music in the lobby all day until 11pm including weekdays. And the hotel is a bit disorganized. When we check in, there was empty wine bottles outside the room. And of course when we checked out, we got billed for those bottles. The hotel waived the charge as soon as I call, but it’s inconvenient.

The lack of a separate bathroom was a bit of a shock - needs to be more transparently shown in the marketing, in my view. The images on the website seem to hide this - which makes me think the hotel knows this is a negative feature. Might be a cool thing if you are staying in a room solo, but is awkward and strange for two people sharing. The poor guests next to us - four guys traveling together - you could hear them laughing awkwardly about it when they arrived. Like who wants to step out of a shower directly into the room?

The ambiance and decor for the whole hotel was wonderful - as were the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We brought our small puppy and received a lovely welcome package for her. Staff were very accommodating. We had a room with outdoor access which was really lovely - even in the early spring weather. Must be so nice in the summer. The food and drinks were one of the best parts of the hotel. We had been to the bar previously and that made us decide to stay here. We will definitely visit the bars and restaurants again and have recommended to others.

It's a 4-star hotel and pricey as well but when you order their breakfast in the room, they charge an extra $5 for delivery and big tips, which we were completely unaware of.

The location is cool. Lounge zones are cozy. The room was good and comfortable. Nespresso machine (complementary) in the room was the best

The W insiders Nisha and Duhan were very accommodating and amazing and they made our stay at the hotel a day to remember. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The fact that my first night the doorbell alarm went off for 3-4 hours before anybody could fix it and ruined my forst night stay. I also dodnt get any kind of discount for my forst night stay even though it was a disaster
