Halls were dated. Bathrooms were small. Restaurant didn't open until 8:00 and we had to leave before then.

Hotel rooms were large. Bathroom was small. Hallways were not update but room and lobby were nice. Pool was decent but hot tub was not working

The water in the shower was so cold, the pool wasnt open when i went to look and it said it should have been- but maybe i misread the timings.

Room was a really good size and comfortable. Didnt use any of the facilities, but the location was great. Lots of restaurants in the local vicinity and different varieties of food

The hotel is very dated. The carpets are in need of replacing, the air condiditoning unit is quite noisey but works. There are major scuffs and dents throughout the room and hallways, elevators, bathroom door etc. The wall coverings both in and out of the room need to be replaced as they are very dark, scuff, scratched. The room had laminate floors which looked to be newer. The picture of the room (not bathroom) shown on website was accurate.

The reception staff were friendly, efficient and polite. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Toiletries of decent quality were provided. The room was cleaned every day of my 3 night stay. Some fixtures of the bathroom were new, bathtub/shower and sink. TV screen decent size. Wifi easy to connect to. Communication about the booking was good. A call was received to inform that the pool was closed but I did not expect to use it.

not necessarily what I don't like but just a note that parking is terrible because of construction and pool was closed for construction. but that couldn't be helped.

usually always stay here when I am in the City. It's right on Portage across from Polo park and all the other shopping. Its improved over the years that's for sure. The two bartenders in the bar work their asses off had a pleasant time when I went down for a few drinks.

The restaurant staff was great. The restaurant itself was sketchy af. It was a lounge and seemed like the neighborhood regulars hangout there for VLT's and early morning beers. I just wanted pancakes. lol

The rug in the third floor hallway was old and dirty looking. The elevator had ripped siding and looks old. The restaurant was closed at 2:00.

Breakfast was good except the ham tasted char broiled. The room was nice. New everything. Lounge food was good.

I thought there was a shuttle to and from the airport, but apparently they had stopped that three years ago. I thought I saw it still advertised on the website. However, their name was still on the shuttle list at the airport (which is the airport’s responsibility since they were asked to remove it). But I used an Uber and it was okay. Then the room I was assigned on the third floor smelled strange. They kindly moved me to the fifth floor. But that room had pipes in the ceiling that would clatter and make a huge noise randomly and multiple times in an hour. The pipes were probably connected to the water pressure so whenever someone turned off the faucet or flushed the toilet perhaps, a huge bang occurred. This was startling and did not allow me to fall asleep. Once I put earplugs in, I was able to sleep through the night. The staff let me check out a half hour later the next morning for free.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and willingly changed my room when I asked. Around midnight, they also kindly investigated loud and disturbing noises in the ceiling of my room.

Was all good, just everything was pricey. Food was good but $$. Room was nice, but $$. Staff was great.

The room I booked was not available, so Viscount upgraded us for no additional cost.

Both nights there were people/ children running up and down the hallways at 1:30 in the morning, doors opening and closing for at least an hour and a half.

Our room had a bad smell! Like they were covering up a bad odour. We let the front desk know and they moved us to a cleaner smelling room.
