Was only half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, and didn't seem like much care was taken for our room. Once again renovations were going on, hopefully they will update features in the rooms, as everything was pretty well dated.

They did not have breakfast offered when we got there. They were doing renovations so bear that in mind with my comments. It was a cheap place to stay, thats it.

TV didn’t work. Coffee was wet had to throw it out. No breakfast included as advertised which was very disappointing. Complained to Booking.com haven’t heard back from them. Should get a refund for this from either the hotel or Booking.com

Check in was easy. Based on the reviews I was concerned about cleanliness but it wasn’t that bad. Could use a deep cleaning.

Bed was hard and I could feel the springs, dust and cobwebs behind furniture, gap between bathroom and main room flooring, needs a paint job outside, property needs more upkeep. Plus they charge $10 per animal per day and that wasn’t stated. In fact I received a message initially saying there was no extra charge then they told me of the added charge in a second message. For the quality of the motel, you would think they would be more affordable. With all the hidden charges, 2 nights cost me $70 more. It was the only “pet friendly” place to stay in the area otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere. And they don’t offer breakfast even though it’s stated on the site that they do.

Not enough blankets for cold weather (it was November). If booking during cold months, request extra blankets at check-in. There was just one thin blanket, cotton sheet and cotton coverlet - no comforter. The bed was cold all night - I had to get up to put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants over my pjs. Also, the thermostat was difficult to use. They should post instructions. Also: there's no breakfast, regardless what Booking says.

Windows were inoperable: screwed shut and sealed from outside with a layer of plexiglas. Owner/operator was new and had not yet made any improvements/repairs that were needed. Wifi and television was out of service for our room. We had to ask for a rate reduction. It wasn't offered. Would describe the facilities as "scruffy." But nothing a thorough cleaning, updating the decor and coat of paint wouldn't fix.

If you have a coffee pot in the room , it would have been nice to have tea bags and coffee . There was no kleenex either. There was no paperwork ,to show how to use T.V. , or paperwork telling us about the area.

Exterior of building(s) are poorly renovated. Faded purple paint on the doors desperately needs a second coat. No kettle in the room. Laundry machine is not available here either.

The room is reasonably well renovated inside. Staff was there to book me in promptly and answer any questions. Nobody bugged me after that, which is great. It had good amenities such as fridge, microwave, but no kettle.

Details about "Breakfast Included" should be removed from all advertising for this property. It was a let down to find out that the "breakfast Included" was not currently available contrary to the advertising (which was absolutely part of the reason we chose this motel). I am not sure if they were trying to still use COVID as an excuse but things have been open in this province for quite a while now. We were basically on our own to drive around and find a place open for Breakfast as there was nothing open within walking distance. The bathroom shower head could not be turned off (when hoping to take a bath) and the tub was not draining even though the stopper was not in the drain. It took at least 1/2 hour for the water to finally drain out of the tub. The room was very dark and the few lamps were very dim.

We did appreciate that the rooms did not have carpeting as it made for a much cleaner feeling. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young girl of around 9 or 10 years old, who quickly summoned her mother. There was also a Dad and sweet baby. Very nice young family.

The motel was advertised as ‘breakfast included’ with Booking.com, it was not. They said it was because of COVID but yet the three other facilities before them provided a full breakfast as advertised. The facilities are in much need of renovation and repair.

It was close to some amenities but everything closed very early.
