The breakfast was average, for the price. They ran out of bread/rolls/pastries. There was limited hot food available. Compared to the other buffet breakfasts we had while travelling around Europe this was the worst.

You need to walk so long to the room on the other side and on top it was a used one. So return and ask for another was annoying.

Despite the description suggesting terrace views for all rooms, some were unfortunately lacking this feature. This discrepancy between expectation and reality was disappointing, especially for those who had specifically chosen the hotel for its promised scenic vistas. Another aspect that detracted from the overall experience was the lack of privacy in the showers. The design of the bathrooms seemed to prioritize aesthetics over functionality, with limited partitioning or soundproofing. This lack of privacy may prove uncomfortable for guests who value discretion and seclusion.

The room didn’t feel super cozy because of the minimalism but wasn’t bad. Both receptionists that attended us clearly didn’t want to be there… the first one (we arrived at 2:30pm and the rooms are given at 3pm) was kind of rude and without any interest. We went to visit the city and left the luggage there and took the metro. So she didn’t tell us that the hotel give us a pass for the metro so we payed and in the afternoon when we came back to our room, the receptionist of the afternoon gave us the passes but that was useless because we already paid. The hotel is fine but the staff…

The location is near the main train station and the “old streets” so everything is near. The room was big but a little minimal.

Please expect no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. At the sink area, there is a blind where you can open and you can see the bedroom from the toilet. As such, it can be noisy when someone is in the shower or using the sink. The sofa bed was not converted when we check in. We waited for the housekeeping staff to complete the setup.

We stayed in the family room. Newly upgraded with Japandi style and so much different from the photos shown in booking.com. The photos for the room is before upgrade.

Nothing that I can think of.

Location is excellent. It's very close to the Lausanne main station. A few restaurants can be found nearby. Lots of options on fast food too. There is also groceries shop nearby (inside the train station). Room size is enough for 2 adults. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in and at the restaurant where we had our breakfast.
