Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandFront desk a bit mixed experience, attitude could be more welcoming. Airline crews are very dominant at times.
Like any of the international chains one knows what to expect and Hilton Zurich Airport delivered against expectations.

ItalyOnly the "Spanish" reception staff (a man) was very unfriendly at check out, pity because everyone else at reception was particularly friendly and nice (especially considering the high turn around of guests in this airport hotel).
The Apart-Hotel by Hilton is currently closed and I was automatically booked into the nearby Hilton Hotel, for the same price, that was very good. The messages received were very clear. The shuttle from the airport is easy to find and is free (one only pays for the way back). It's a classic Hilton, spacious room, very good desk, I liked the low level of the room overlooking some green and rocks wall, sort of cosy. The food in the restaurant was particularly delicious. I appreciated the early check in.

IndiaAgain whatever comment I make here does not apply to Apart-Hotel Zurich Airport. Regarding our stay in the Hilton Zurich Airport hotel, our rooms were nice and comfortable. But the rooms given to us were on the 1st floor, and we there was no view from the windows. The bathrooms could have been bigger. I cannot make any comment on food as we never had any meal there at Hilton.
My experience does not apply to Apart-Hotel Zurich Airport, as the hotel was temporarily closed and our booking was transferred to the Hilton Zurich Airport hotel. So my rating goes to Hilton only although I appreciate the transfer and am thankful for that.

Hong KongThis comment is actually for Hilton Airport Hotel since I was so called "upgraded" from Apart Hotel to Hilton Hotel. 1, I have a connected flight with a stop of 9 hours, so I choose to stay in a hotel near aiport instead of any hotel in the city. What I have booked is a room with a "large sofa" so that I can have a comfortable seat during the stop. But what I have been upgraded to is a room with a normal "chair" but not sofa. What "upgrade" is standing for? Only the hotel brand but not the facilities in the room? 2, there is air con in the room, and I have Google how to operate it. Even the heating light is on and I turn to 5+(the highest), the room is still freezing cold. Then I decided to Google the comment about the air con of the Hilton hotel , nearly 70% of them is bad comment. Ok, I can give up on calling the reception for changing room. I am very disappointed with the facility of Hilton. And the so-called upgraded service. I would rather stay in the airport instead of staying in this freezing cold room.
This comment is actually for Hilton Airport Hotel since I was so called "upgraded" from Apart Hotel to HiltoHotelel. Staff is nice. He tries to speak slowly and clearly to make sure I understand everything.

United KingdomFound the guests in reception to be surprisingly pushy and brazen. Attempted queue jumping and loud chats intended for others to hear seemed the norm, though the staff were used to it and handled these people well. There shouldn't be a charge for the shuttle back to the airport (it's a Hilton), there's a 150 minute gap in the schedule for lunch, and the ride back to the airport was 15 minutes late. The shower head kept sliding down the shower rail and the glass shower curtain didn't prevent splash on the floor. Insufficient tea and coffee making, had to augment it with my own. Room supplies multiple types of powersocket, but at the desk rather than at the bed where you'd want to plug the laptop in. Lighting was reasonable though one was flickering, and there was a locked door into the next room which could cause noise / reduce privacy depending on who's there. Passers by can see into the lower rooms on the car park side and the hotel is on a hill so there's either a slow slope or a set of stairs before you can walk to and from the trams / trains.
Booking transferred to the Hilton 100 meters up the hill as the Apart Hotel was closed. Was able to check in at 10:30am though arrived at 7:30am so was quite a wait. Hilton has an airport shuttle to the left outside arrivals, free to the hotel but a bit surprised you had to pay 6 francs for the return journey (considering it's a Hilton). Staff were generally helpful and efficient and explained situations (no charge for early checkin but the hotel was full and a room would have to be cleaned). Room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed, very good wifi, international TV and tee and coffee making. Ground floor at the back of the hotel is quiet and no one passes the windows as the paths are closed. Heater / air conditioner quickly set the right temperature. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the nearest train station and tram stations (they only take coins or cards). Worth noting the trains are multiple times faster than the trams. About 25 minutes walk to the airport train stations. Distance from the airport is walkable but there's an underpass and stairs on the quickest root. To wheel luggage without using stairs will add five minutes to navigate two roundabouts at surface level. A well known supermarket can be found at the bottom of the hill (3 mins walk, but maybe 5 mins including waiting for the traffic lights).
