Its very well located in the middle of little Samedan, with walking distance from the train station and the main streets of the old city. Also appreciated how friendly everyone at the hotel was, specially to my parents who could speak no local language or English. The hotel has free parking, which is quite convenient. Lastly, the room we were in was simple but very comfortable, with enough space for us and the dog, good storage, spacious bathroom with amenities. In all, a good place to stay and explore the Engadin.

We were on basement floor and room was quite cold. We couldn’t find a radiator or any way heat was getting to the room (no vents, fans, etc). The thermostat didn’t warm the room. We didn’t spend much time there so did t reflect our stay.

Loved the little town of Sameden and convenience to train station to go to St Moritz. Hotel is charming, extremely clean and attached restaurant is nice (wonderful coal fired pizza). Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast room is really pretty but very cold! The breakfast was held up by scrambled eggs and bacon but the way the eggs were cooked was more like a soup of eggs than a normal scrambled kind. Missing fresh bread and fresh croissants (those they had were dry) and vegetables. The juice, the cereal, the coffee was good 👏

That we could all stay together in 1 app. The view is Beautiful. The spa is nice. I like that I have restaurant possibility within the hotel. Easy to access.

the town and hotel bar are not very lively - even in peak season there were few people around. low energy. check out is way too early spa is not open until 3 rooms are a bit sparsely furnished for 4 stars

There was no lift at the building that our rooms were located and we had to carry our luggages up two flights of stairs as our rooms were located on level 2.

The facilities in the room didn’t really meet my expectations. For the price we paid, little things were expected, like flannels for the shower. We’ve stayed in less expensive hotels and had facilities to make drinks, and even gowns. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, which was disappointing. We made reception aware, but didn’t make a fuss, as we were only there for one night, so hopefully they repaired it after we left.

Breakfast was lovely. There was plenty of choice, and the room was light and airy. There only appeared to be one staff member doing both meet and greet and taking drinks orders though, so not fast service. Ok if you’ve not got a train to catch!

I stayed in the hotel before the pandemic and everything was perfect then. Now I was disappointed with the breakfast - many products were missing and were only partially replaced. upon request, after 20 minutes. If you can stay for an hour and a half at breakfast to wait for various products, it's ok, but we wanted to go to the mountains... too bad, I hope they recover!

Coffee has to be ordered by the staff for breakfast, more convenient would be some automatic coffee machines.
