We did not aware that Wengen is not accessable by car, so we were very surprised when it has to be accessed by train. The lighting in the villa was very deemed, would be great if it can be brighter.

Location not far from Train station and the villa is very nice wxcept for the lighting.

While the kitchen is kitted out with lots of pans and dishes, it needs more cooking utensils, flatware, and sharp knives. It would be nice to have somewhere to hang laundry to dry instead of using the dryer.

Lovely, quiet location with plenty of space for two to unpack and settle in for a long stay. Hotel Silberhorn staff were very nice and the WiFi was excellent. We appreciated the Nespresso machine very much! There is a washer and dryer in the basement (no elevator access, though) which took a bit to figure out. We felt lucky to find this place are our plans came together rather last minute. The flat is only 10 minutes walk from the train station but we were happy to have a lift with out luggage on arrival!

It would have been nice if the kitchen provided some sugar.

Just two minutes walk from church. From the staircase in front of the church, you get a stunning view of the Lauterbrunnen valley, the mountain Jungfrau with the glacier and a range of other mountains. Four minutes walk to the cable car that goes the location Männlichen. From Männlichen you get an absolutely stunning view of Eiger, Mönsch, Jungfrau mountains. From there you can do a 1.5 h hike down to Kleine Scheidegg and further down to Wengen; you get a feel like if the mammoth mountains are in front of your face! Stunning! The apartment is situated next to Wengernerhof Hotel. The house has 3 apartments. We got no.2. One room with double bed and other other with two single beds. Nicely carpeted floor, a living area with a nice sofa, nice lighting. Kitchen is decently equipped, has a dining table, all the cutlery and a dishwasher and a fridge. The toilet was stunningly clean!

Cosy, comfortable and well-equipped apartment a few minutes walk from the centre of Wengen, at the entrance to the Hotel Wengerhof grounds. We had the one bedroom apartment Mönch on the ground floor. Plenty of room for two people, full kitchen and a nice balcony as well as access to the HotelcWengerhof gardens. The apartment is in typical Swiss 1970s/1980s style but perfectly comfortable and functional. We’d be happy to stay there again.

There was no view from our room, but the church lawn across the way had a great view. There was a coffee maker that required special pods, but no pods provided. Would have appreciated two or so pods to enjoy coffee in the morning.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the instructions for check-in were clear. The beds were comfortable.

the apartment is on the bottom floor so the view is partially blocked by another building. The first two nights we had 5 noisy guys upstairs that had the windows open and yelling till 4 am. I asked the receptionist the next day to ask them to keep the noise down the next night by leaving them a note or talking to them but the next night they were loud till 2:30 am. I asked if they could give us a room in the main building to sleep and was told she would ask the manager but never heard a word back from management. Yes it is hard for them to control the noise of guests but I don’t think they even tried. Just be aware this downstairs unit #1 as well as unit 2 hear noise easily from upstairs.

Near by a church, which rings the bell still during the night. If you are a light sleeper this might be an issue.

The only thing which we didnt like was there were too many red ants which was a bit annoying. They are everywhere 😊 and some are travelling back with us too 😊 Not sure if chalets generally have this issue or this was one of a kind. Rest everything is perfect about this place.

Location is perfect. You get amazing mountain views. It was very clean and comfortable. They have everything you will need 😊 Salt, pepper, cleaning materials etc. A short walk and you are in the mid of Wengen - Coop, restaurants, market place and bahnhof everything is nearby.
