Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, higher floors have a lovely lake view. Close to a tram stop and shops, 2 minutes away from the lake promenade. Very quiet, homy feeling; kitchenette with some basis tableware.

The Bar set up was very odd and no atmosphere in there. Pillows not very comfy, but didnt realise there were more in cupboard. Bath bit small. Door into bathroom wouldn't close. View from room wasnt great, but could have upgraded for lake view.
There was a Kitchenette in the room was very nice touch. Lovely comfortable large bed. Hotel in Good location. Near enough to everything. Lots of places to eat nearby. Not far from lake. Near bus and tram stops. Staff friendly. Can walk into main shopping area in about 20 to30 minutes. Room spacious. Everything needed was there. Breakfast good.

Hotel rooms are a little bit of old fashion and not many dishes in the kitchen but still ok to work around, not many plugs just remember to take extansion cord.
amazing location close to Lidl and local bars and restaurants, tram stop near by nr 15 and about 10 minutes walk to main station to take you anywhere in Geneva. Overall good hotel & nice staff . All rooms are with kitchen. Bonus everyday you can buy from reception fresh bakery.

Everything in Geneva is expensive and the hotel followed suit with this, the breakfast was expensive but nothing out of the ordinary and in line with costs throughout Geneva
Lovely property tucked away just a bit further from the lake. Ideal location for walking to all locations and easy access to public transport. Room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The kitchenette was super useful to eat breakfast at an early time before the restaurant opened in the morning. The room was also very cozy and the receptionist very helpful and kind.

Double beds are 2 simple beds put together so if you sleep in the middle it moves a bit. There was no socket near the bed.
Location is very quiet but convenient as its close to public transport and restaurants but a bit away from the main street. The staff super friendly. Breakfast is decent and there is a nice terrace. Rooms have a small kitchen which can come in handy

The kitchen faucet was loose and did not work properly. When we mentioned it to the front desk person, he apologized, saying it should have been fixed before we arrived.
The location: near the lake, and only two tram stops from the main train station (Cornavin). The staff: very friendly. The room, very functional, including a tiny but useful kitchenette.

Kitchen vent system is awful, big problem to get rid of food smell, even after window opening. Toilet's door wasn't closing at all. It was quite challenging to find a socket for a kettle.
Location is 10 minutes walk away from the train station. Quite clean. Good kitchen facilities even though there is no oven.
