Everything the hotel is lovely, just as in the pictures, the room is very spacious, we got an upgrade with a view towards the garden and the lake which was wonderful. We look forward to coming again and enjoying this gem.

Staff in restaurant lacked personality and no atmosphere in restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately no views either. Terrace for drinks was good though.

toilet is a bit old and needs remodeling. no AC / I personally do not mind this, but people traveling from the US or Asia might not be used to this. the new part of the building also needs a new elevator.

exceptional and unobstructed view over leman and the alps. terrace is amazing. room and bed was very comfortable. the restaurant terrace is also a splendid place!

The weather was very hot whilst we were there and it would have been beneficial if the bedroom had air conditioning. A good fan however was provided and so it wasn’t too much of a problem

It was clean and the main areas were well decorated. There was a lovely garden with plenty of sitting areas. We had half board for 10 days and the evening meal was of a very high standard with no repeats. The staff were very attentive.

Condition of the rooms and bathroom.

Hotel in historic building, room and bathroom more or less renovated but small and in a bad shape. They could have done a better job in redecoration.

Exceeded our expectations by some way. We were upgraded on arrival to a superior double and benefitted from rooms with views of the lake - just breath-taking. Food and service were of a very high standard and this applied to breakfast - we ended up eating at the hotel on both evenings as the terrace provided a unique and stunning backdrop. The location was sublime, straight out onto the lake and close enough to walk to key transport routes and activities.

The bed mattress was a bit firm but we slept well with the patio door open.

The view from our room was incredible! We ate at the restaurant both nights, once in the dining room and once on the patio and the food and service were excellent. The breakfast was great and was included

On web site they claim they have car park but it is not hotels park and Saturday night was a problem. It is the public car park on the street of the hotel. Weather was vey hot and we missed air conditioning or at least a fan.

Rooms are very clean reasonable size, lake view is great. Location nice. Easy access. Do not forget to take your swimwear with you as lake is a few steps away and very clean. Restaurant has lake view.

for the frogs. They were very noisy at bedtime. Fortunately, we were tired after a busy day of traveling, walking to Chateau de Chillon and boat rides, so we went to sleep. Some might find wild animals in built-up Montreux charming and once I knew what was making the noise, I relaxed.
