Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Switzerland-No smoking area.. had to go to Novotel side -Toilets are made for people with super long legs ...felt like a dwarf on the throne...🤣 I am 167 cm tall and legs are quite proportional to the body length -no drinking cups or glasses,only for tooth brushes - bed has way too thin matrase on it..at least feels like that -Hangers for clothes are super tough to use...Stender should be at least placed parallel to the person (guest)not perpendicular what makes it difficult to get a jacket or blouse placed at the end of that Stander -complementary water or even water to buy could be placed in the room -body lotion at least the cheapest one could be a good idea.. -took me a time to figure out how to turn off light around bed area...I thought at the begining it is only around the sink...luckily I figured out it is also above the bed -Reception stuff are friendly but some( sorry one) female employee should take care of her grooming...I recognized it during my previous stay...not this time...short nails,or with manicure or whatever..but not the mix of both...three long fake nails and two broken..on each hand..no go for.Receptionist as well as hostesses, hosts or concierge .They are "Face of the Hotel" and should be "gefflegt". ❤️
-Next door to my work and next to the city center. -great area to stay it has everything in the neighbourhood and all the same time quite quiet...no party's next door,on the streets or around the building -very clean rooms -Cheap and has everything you need for a short stay... -Opportunity to visit Novotel next door for good food,long drinks,cool garden and extremely friendly personal -Surprisingly good breakfast buffet ,clean and friendly serving personal -Friendly African or Afro-American cleaning Lady with the good humor and charisma

HungaryI paid for the breakfast, but it wasn' add to my booking. I showed the invoice next morning at the reception, the Lady was kind but the next day I also had to prove it that I had already paid during check in. So it was yet not added to my booking even after complaning. I felt really frustrated having explain every morning before breakfast.
It was close to ZHDK where I had meetings. Simple hotel, but very clean, comfy bed. Good breakfast.A bit expensive though.

United KingdomCar parking a bit expensive. Shower is in room (not separate bathroom) so as a family of 3 adults, sharing a room, we had to vacate the room when our 23 yr old daughter wanted a shower, and vice versa! No kettle or cups.
Good location, good price for an overnight stay on a long journey. Room clean and beds comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

BrazilThe pillows were very thin, we had to ask for extras to have more comfort to sleep. No outlet power next to the bed, even for a 1 star hotel this is pretty weird, it is 2024 and this should be standard. Toilet was weirdly very high from the floor and also strange room design for the sink to be outside of the bathroom.
Very clean room, nice breakfast and the hotel is just next to the line 4 which takes you to the city center in 15 minutes, very convenient! Staff was very helpful as well!
