The written info on the check-in came two days too late (however, I also missed a call of the owners when travelling there), otherwise, we were mostly bothered by a strong cigarette smell in the room - first we thought it came from the sheets but it turned out someone must have been smoking in there before. This is unfortunate because it dampened out overall satisfaction with the place.

The location is absolutely awesome, right in the center of the city, close to restaurants, shops and the lake as well as public transportation options (bus, train and boat). The facilities (kitchen, fridge, coffee machine) offered were very good and the hosts were reacting promptly to all inquiries we made. Great value for money, especially for a longer stay

We should have done more research before booking our stay. The city was gorgeous, but unfortunately very shut down for the New Years holiday. We chose the property so that we could have an apartment style hotel with a restaurant on site. Our hope was to have a break from cooking for our family. We were informed upon arrival that the restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. We then discovered that every restaurant was closed in the city because of the holiday. There was also a huge party above our room on NYE. We were okay with some extra noise because of the holiday, but it stretched through the night and no one in our family got any sleep. The host responded at 2am and was working to quiet down the other guests and we appreciated the attention.

The location is fantastic. The host worked to make our stay as comfortable as possible during a holiday weekend. We appreciated the support we received during and after our stay.

Only thing is that there is no elevator to this apartment, so if you have a heavy suitcase, carrying it up, those stones stairs is a bit difficult for some people. But that is a very minor point, otherwise it was excellent.

I could not remember anything significant. Perhaps, just to be honest, I would say that the cleaning could have been a bit better (I mean just floors), but we didn't feel that as a big problem.

We arrived to Neuchatel in October 2022, and it was a complicated period of our life. I can not emphasize enough how important it was for us that the hotel provided a big apartment for us, that it has such a great location and that Giovanni helped us a lot with all our requests. We are very grateful for this and we enjoyed our stay.

Only draw back is it is rather noisy, however if one keeps the windows closed it was not too bad.

The area, efficient and relaxed service, the art gallery in the building, location and closeness to town. It was very well situated in the centre of town so we could walk to the market and various other shops and restaurants. The rubbish was taken for us very efficiently. The manager was great. Very very convenient.

The only thing that was a bit difficult was finding it in the dark the first night because we arrived late the first night… the Taxi drive took us to another place with a similar name …but once we figured out that …me made it.

The location was perfect! It came with so many amenities! It was great because there was a market close by which allowed us to cook at “home.” It was close to the train and bus station. We opted to not rent a car so that was really convenient. Lastly it was very well maintained!! Really well thought out and well stocked!
