Bathrooms were small for some rooms with no accessory in the shower area for personal soaps/shampoos. Since we stayed for a whole week it would have been nice if the breakfast options changed occasionally.

Easy access to public transport and to the Old Town, and the very helpful staff, especially Ana. We also enjoyed riding the old elevator, and the fresh orang juice and great selection of cheeses!

Our shower was raised up quite a bit which made stepping out of it with wet feet a bit scary.

Very friendly welcome, nice building with a beautiful old wooden elevator. My double room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a kettle for tea / coffee. Breakfast great, nice buffet with fresh stuff. It’s very close to the train station and only a couple of stop away from the old town. Free public transportation in Bern when staying in a hotel.

Even though the value-price per night was good for a Swiss hotel, I would have liked the breakfast, which was included in the rate I paid, to be a little more varied, as the choice was quite limited and there was exactly the same thing every day.

The location is perfect. Just steps away from the train station and also there is a public transport stop just outside the hotel. This was crucial for me choosing this hotel. It was wonderful since with my hotel confirmation number I enjoyed of free transportation during my entire stay in Bern!

This didn't worry me, but with reception on the first floor, and those staying in higher floor rooms, there is only one lift and it is 120 years old (seriously). Take the stairs if you can, but it is a very novel ride.

Hotel is very conveniently located close to the main train station. The room we were in was a recently refurbished room facing out onto the tram stop. Even with this the room was quiet, spacious, and included everything that we would have expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was included and extremely convenient. Hotel location is excellent for access to Bern via either the trams out front, or just by walking.

Printer at the reception unexpectedly stopped working at a critical moment. It'd be great if the hotel invests in a back-up machine (or automated fixes) so that such issues don't recur.

I booked an Economy Single Room and declined an upgrade in exchange for extra early Check In. The room was REALLY small. A tiny twin bed with a rock hard mattress and too much furniture for a room that size. The bathroom you could barely turn around in. You get what you pay for. I'm an average sized person and I can do small but in hindsight, the next size up would have been a better choice for me.

A short walk from the Bern Bahnhof on a quiet street - as long as you can sleep to the soothing purr of electric streetcars. Restaurants, retail, entertainment, and services right outside the front door. An excellent breakfast. Check In/Out was quick and easy with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

There was no view from the window In my room - I saw just a chair and inner yard, but in 4 days I was moved to better room for free, was happy and spent 2 more nights looking at the city and sky!

Location of the hotel is very convenient, 5 min. walk to the railway station and 15 min walk to the Old City, many trams near the hotel. And wonderful lady at the reception, Ara Pereira - so polite and nice, so pretty and helping!
