The hotel is quite old-feeling. The soundproof of the rooms is mediocre. The price is higher compared the ones I spent in other cities in Switzerland.

The location is good, near the train station and some attractions. Staffs are helpful.

The location of the hotel is just near to the Lucerne lake. It is at walkable distance from the train station. The hotel is an old building but comfortable. There are restaurants and cafes all around. Overall, a good experience.

The location was perfect, in the centre but quiet at night. Friendly staff and very easy check in/out. Spacious room, bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space. More than enough plug sockets.

We had some problems with the bathroom light working inconsistently.

Lovely location right by the promenade, really comfortable room, and a pretty good breakfast at up to 25 CHF per person (competitive price for eating out). Each dog got their own bed and 2 bowls.

Acoustics could be a little better, mostly between the door and hallway. The hallway could have been more characterful, to improve the arrival experience. Otherwise great.

In a good location, nice street views from the window, comfortable beds, clean, organised interior, in general staff were helpful and especially when we needed a plug converter, good food and good dining choices for breakfast or dinner.

Watch out. It’s an old building so some of the spaces can have unusual head clearance. Both my son 6’3” and my daughter 5’9” hit their heads in the bathroom.

Very nice to have included breakfast with proteins and oats not just breads. Loved the old building and it was very conveniently located to Old Town and the train station.

The location was amazing just 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from the Chapel bridge, there is a beautiful church right infront of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even kept our luggage in the room. The breakfast was superb, fresh and excellent quality.

Fantastic location, great breakfast and spacious room. Very quiet considering it’s location. We are at the restaurant for dinner on our first night which was delicious.

First night was super windy and the hotel flags outside our room made a terrible metal grating sound the whole evening - I hardly slept at all. Took some videos and showed to reception staff the next morning. They were very apologetic, but told me unfortunately the flags could not be removed. However, I was told the next evening would have almost no wind, so should not pose an issue. I agreed on condition that they move me to a different room should it be windy. It turned out a beautiful evening and not an issue. I remain disappointed however, I paid to sleep at the hotel - not for the hotel to keep me awake on the first night, this could easily have been avoided!

Friendly staff, speaks English, good facilities. Superb location, easy stroll from main train station to hotel and easy access from there to the old town. Nice wine bar attached to the hotel. Breakfast was decent (selection of bread, cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt) with good coffee. Typical Continental breakfast, which we were happy with. Overall experience was good, although it felt more like a good 3 star hotel than 4 star.

We loved the location and comfort. We enjoyed our meals when we ordered. I’m trying to figure out our charges as my friend had a single room for the same days and I paid for both rooms. Please tell me me how much the double was for three nights and the single for the same 3 nights.

The rude dinner waiter. He detracted from everyone else who were helpful and friendly to us.

Loved the authentic quirky style of the hotel. The staff were lovely except the dinner waiter in the restaurant who seemed to be friendly to everyone except us English speakers. Perhaps he simply despised Australians.
