The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly. We loved spending time at the hotel. We also had a wonderful dinner there. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Vitznau.

The Hotel Rigi is in a great location and has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The room we stayed in had a good sized balcony, bath and a very comfortable bed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast rooms were really nice, with a lovely outside area.

The only thing, (to be expected from an older hotel) is that you could hear people walking around outside the room and the room above, and being next to the road, being a light sleeper doesn't work, unless you can get a room around the back of the hotel.

The room was comfortable, along with the beds, and a great shower. The location was very central, literally two mins walk or less to the Rigi Bahn which took me to the 'Queen of the mountains'. Breakfast was a continental affair, with the staff being very friendly and welcoming, the coped very well with my average German, and answered all my questions.

The street noise affects sleep if you stay in street side rooms.

The hotel is opposite the train station. It is very convenient to get the train to Rigi mountain. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

The lack of maintenance and the poor standards. It also had a”rough” group of local people who almost prevented customers from using the bar etc. No women entered the bar in my 2 evenings.

Close to famous facilities and excellent garden to enjoy dinner. (Even using the neighbour - the church - for extension of the eating area. Brilliant. )

The hotel is well located - in the middle of the village - so the main road runs alongside it. There is a certain amount of noise due to heavy traffic early in the morning, a possible nuissance thore those who like to sleep with window open.

The staff were polite, helpful and discreet. Buffet breakfast perfectly sufficient.

Everything was good. Friendly staff, excellent location next to the Rigi Bahn station, for trains up the mountain. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Also had dinner in the restaurant, good was good and the restaurant was popular!

Staff is really friendly. Mr. Thomas helped me a lot to find attractions around Vitznau. Breakfast is actually fresh and pleasant. I enjoyed the coffee they serve. And the scenery!!! Like a part of heaven! Amazing view to the lake. I absolutely enjoyed the walking by the lake in the morning. Do not forget to try the restaurant. Very professional chef. There is a grocery store nearby where you can find most of your needs. There is a bus stop by the Hotel, which you can use to go to Lucerne or other cities. A bit far, but you can enjoy the rout.

The property allows smoking in the room. The smell of cigarette smoke was very heavy and unpleasant in all the common areas of the hotel. We didn't really appreciate that.

The room was sufficient and provided us with what we needed for our two day stay. The Breakfast was great. We like the selection. The staff were responsive and provided good service. The location of the hotel was excellent. If you intend to hike near Rigi, you can not beat the location. Highly recommend.

It did smell of smoke in the hotel, and a couple of times we smelled it in our room.

We had a nice stay overall. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and we ate there twice. Also the location is brilliant, less than a minute walking distance from the cogwheel railway station to Rigi Kulm. Also a great starting point for hikes.
