The location was only a minute walk from the train station, and quick access to main shopping street. Room was nice with couch and chair in sitting area. Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Hotel Sarazena was in the perfect location for our travels with a ski bag and large travel bag. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming acknowledging us at all times as we only speak English. Located next to the train up to the mountain and bus 50 metres away. The hotel was so clean and the rooms had all modern facilities, coffee machine, fridge and kettle. You just needed to ask the staff for anything and they were accommodating. The room was very spacious with a lounge and chair for relaxing after skiing, the balcony was amazing in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine and cheese. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options and plenty of variety for the fussy eaters. So glad we selected this property.

Amazing property right next to the train station. The rooms are sparkling clean and the reception is so nice. Very good value, considering the cost of lodging in Zermatt. Being next to the train station you also have access to the ski bus and it’s very easy to get to the slopes. Nice breakfast. Lovely balconies. Comfy beds.

The overall interior of the hotel is prestine, cozy and has a warm, welcoming ambiance. The bed mattresses are so comfortable and is perfect respite after a long day in the alps. Breakfast was ok, nothing extra what matters most is it will fuel us for the day. Although we did not ski, there are ski facilities in the hotel (e.g. ski room), which I thought is really great! The location is just a stone’s throw away to Gornergrat Railway Station, red and green (free) buses- all these will transport you to the magnificent views of Matterhorn and Glacier Paradise.

Great stay at Sarazena! Newly refurbished, comfortable, clean, and good sized rooms. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent - right opposite the main Zermatt train station and beside the Gornergrat train, and on the main street close to all the restaurants and bars. Staff were fantastic, extremely nice and helpful with any questions and requests. Will definitely be back next trip!
