People organizing tours: they cancelled our tour to Moon Valley arguing tour was sold out from travel agency (although tour was previously confirmed). We went to San Pedro town and succesfully book it directly from another travel agency. Contacting other travel agencies could be provided by the hotel. Quality of bycicles provided by the hotel is very poor. This is a small investment for the hotel which will provide lot of satisfaction to customers.

We had some issues with the air conditioning in our room, it might just be that the unit needs some maintenance, not enough to be unbearable but noticeable on warmer nights. It would have also been nice to have more shuttles available to go in to town and back, the walk is only about 20 minutes, but when you’ve been hiking all day or are pressed for time, the option for more pick up times would have been nice!

It’s a beautiful hotel, with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and the indoor/outdoor showers were fantastic, makes me wish I had that option at home! The pools were also lovely, and the breakfasts were delicious and the staff were always very helpful and attentive. Considering how dusty the air can get, it was impressive how clean everything was!

there's no way to get to the hotel from the town easily, we rented a car after trying unsuccessfully to use Uber or organizing according to the Hotel's free shuttle

the staff is amazing, the chef went to check on every customer and the service was great. The pools were extremely enjoyable, and the room was the exact right size.

The menu in the restaurant should be more variety. And for the breakfast too. We stayed for 4 nights and every day it was the same with no difference

The location- near the town but not in the centre. The arquitectura and design in each detail. Very stylish and you really recognise that you are in the middle if desert. Wifi was perfect. A lot of water in mini bar. Every day. Of course surroundings - the best of the best. Free shuttle to the centre of the town. The silence and the safety. Good restaurant with its air conditioner and cleanliness.

Miss-communication about the closure of the swimming pools that created a bit of discomfort with the staff when we tried to use them. But it was explained although all of the 4 swimming pool remained closed when the information first received from the hotel management we would be able to use 2 of them.

Furniture is a little old and needs more maintenance for the quality of the hotel. Gym with poor options off equipments and the treadmill is horrible

Hotel Cumbres is a wonderfull hotel, the room has a spetacular view to the desert and is very comfortable with a big and comfy bed. Breakfast is good with a lot of options and receptionists are always available to solve your problems. They have transfer every single day from 1pm to 10pm to "downtown" or you can grab a bike (both included). In the begning of the night you can fell a bad smell because of recycle of water but inside your room you don't smell it.

Parts of the complex are in need of maintenance the area around the pool to be specific. I feel for the price that the hotel should be in better condition. High price = high quality. The hotel runs a shuttle service into the town which finishes at 10pm. In my opinion this is too early and should continue until 12. Although town is in walking distance (about 2km) it isn’t ideal to walk at this late hour in the desert. Room service finishes at 9:30 which again is too early. I feel that this is what is convenient for the hotel for logistical reasons not what is best for their customers a 10:30 cut off would be what I would generally expect from a hotel which aspires to a high level of customer care. The customer service is generally very good but when I went to the travel centre and tried to book a trip on the horses (which is advertised by the hotel) I was told to contact the business directly - not what I would expect to hear from a 4/5*. I would expect the concierge to organise this for me and contact me with the details.

Beautiful rooms, big beds and oasis like feel in the desert. I particularly loved the outdoor shower. The barman was also lovely.
