The staff was so nice ! We celebrated Chinese New Year all together, it was great. The room was okay, our window was on the corridor and not the outside, but besides that it was super nice.

The bed was a little noisy, no problem at all on mid capacity but could become a concert on full capacity, bring earplugs and all should be fine. It's a hostel after all!

The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and quiet and the shower had good temperature and pressure.

The staff were very helpful. They provided me with great tour tips and spoke English. They also were very willing to help me every single time even when I made some dumb mistakes. Truely an exceptional place, highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the hostel itself is clean, has a good location and a nice vibe. What really made my stay enjoyable was the staff. Kevin and the other boys were really helpful and couldn't do enough for me. They helped me book tickets and send postcards. They were also a great laugh and great company in the evenings. I would really recommend this hostel, for this reason alone.

There were five mosquitoes in our room, so we had to spend 45 minutes to hunt them all down. The staff didn't give us much information about the cruise, so we were left a bit in the dark. Also, the reception wouldn't open until 9 AM, but we were to check out and leave at 7.30 AM. It would have been very helpful to have more information on the cruise since they booked it for us: at least give us the website or even just the name of the company, so we could research a bit by ourselves as well, just to know what to expect.

The staff was nice. As soon as we checked in, they helped us book the cruise to Yangshuo and then showed us everything there was to do in Guilin. Their recommendations were great. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were many other foreigners, so it was a friendly atmosphere.

Kind staffs, good location, cozy atmosphere. Even I arrived very late but they managed flexibly. Lucy is extremely nice person and she helped me a lot during my stay.

Staff is really friendly and they speak great english. They helped us with transportation, gave tips on things to see in Guilin, and Lucy made us nice breakfast with coffee. The hostel has a nice social vibe, and the reception doubles as a small bar with a good selection of craft beers and nice cocktails. Beds have curtains for when you need some privacy.

The shower rooms were small and it was hard to hang all my clothes on the wall. I wish there was more space with a shelf to make sure my clothes will not get wet during the shower.

Nice location. Staff are so friendly and helped us plan our trip. Cost-effective. There is a bar and a room where you can hang out with your friends. A lot of visitors are internationals so maybe you get to meet diverse range of people.

There were a few times the “western style” toilet got blocked with tissue paper but this was not really the hostels fault.

The staff will go out of their way to help you with any questions you might have and are happy to arrange tours on your behalf. The beds are very comfy and very clean.

Curtains on bed were falling off

Nice hostel, comfy beds and common area. Staff were excellent at helping with trips and the local area, Lucy was amazing and showed me around the nearby area on my first night

No cons in my opinion. It's a good standard for this price.

I really like the owner - Luka, and his employee - Lucy. They both speak English fluently and they are very helpful. Hostel is very cheap and located not far from the main attractions. I spent 3 nights in a dorm and I like it. Beds have curtains, so it is easy to separate from others if needed to fall asleep earlier.

The shower could have been a Bit hotter

After 1 month in China this was the best Hostel yet. Good Location near the elephant Trunk Hill and a nice breakfast for a small fee. The Coffee and Beer selection was especially extraordinary. The staff helped me with booking Several Tours and showed me around the City.

Cyan box hostel is super comfortable and the team are so helpful and informative. Great selection of fun beers at reception and loved the bbq Wednesday! Best hostel we’ve stayed in China yet, recommend booking it :)

Good location, 5 min walk from 7 star park. Many cheap and nice local food within 5 min walk. Owner Luca and staff Oliver and Lucy all speak English and helpful. Room reasonably large and comfortable. Anything you need, just ask.
