Great accommodation option for Taganga. A really nice hostel with excellent staff who made good recommendations for the area. The room and the rest of the hostel was very clean and comfortable. Great upstairs terrace with seating and some kitchen facilities for use too. Accommodation just as it should be. Great.

The staff was very friendly, we also very much enjoyed the hammocks outside, there's a nice breeze. This side of Taganga is pretty quiet at night. The pool was a plus.

The big bed and pillows were extremely firm in the family room. Refrigerator could have been bigger in the communal kitchen.

Very friendly staff, and cleanliness exceeded my expectations! Very close to the water (as close as you can get, really) but a little distances from the loudness, since the water was with boats, not the swimming beach. It was a 5 minute, easy walk to the swimming part of the beach and very easy access to restaurants and groceries. The hostel was very quiet inside, and the communal kitchen was great! Wifi was great, cozy eating and resting spaces.

It was exactly as described and better. Super relaxing. The 2nd floor deck/terrace is so comfortable with chairs tables, rocking chairs a couple of hammocks and even a couple of BBQs if you fancy buying fish from the fisherman maybe 100meters away. Will definitely return. Oh, we got the base room no a/c but with 2 stand up type fans. Slept well. Quite.

The fridge was jam packed all the time with lots of beer and soft drinks bottles so there wasn't a whole heap of room to store food. I was only there a few nights so I didn't plan on cooking so it didn't matter too much to me.

Wilmar was a great host - kind knowledgable, helpful, and speaks English. The other staff are also very nice. The room was good - it had 2 fans, which I needed as it was quite warm and humid. Decent size clean bathroom. There is a small pool out the back which was great for cooling off. The internet worked quite well, only had a few dropped connections during my work zoom meetings. If you arrive by taxi I suggest getting them to drop you off at the beach and walk along the foreshore the rest of the way. The roads to the hostel are terrible and the taxi driver tried to charge me extra for the trip.

The location is very scary for tourists. Especially when it's dark. We got robbed as a group of 4. I don't recommend staying at this location if you want to feel safe to walk to the beach. In general in taganga you shouldn't walk outside after 22:00-23:00 but there are hostels with better locations there.

The pool was great. The rooms were clean and the fan was good. The owner of the hostel was helpful and ordered us a taxi.

As everywhere in Colombia, especially the coast and during weekends, you can hear loud music until late.

The hotel is well located in Taganga, a nice fisherman’s town. I definitely prefer the atmosphere here rather than in Santa Marta. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a big terrace and a patio, a small swimming pool but I definitely recommend to go out and enjoy the beach which is only a couple of minutes walking ! The staff is really friendly and they helped us with lot of tips about the area, plus they booked the boats for the excursions to the beaches and Tayrona park. Breakfast is not included so enjoy a coffee on the bay facing the sea side or a delicious arepa at one of the small stands on the street.
