Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe only thing we did not like, but it is not the hotel's fault, was the number of motor boats coming to that part of sea. As it is less than 2 hours away from Cartagena, there is a lot of traffic of small motor boats. However, typically the sea around an island is protected for people to swim for around 250 meters from the shore (at least this is standard in Europe). Here boats come really close and it is not a problem just around the Coralina Island but all of the islas de Rosario. It is a pity because they make swimming quite unsafe unless you keep to the shore or you also take a boat yourself.
Everything. Coralina Island is a wonderful luxury boutique hotel where you are treated like family, you feel very comfortable. The location is amazing: an island made of literally dead corals with a fantastic and alive coral reef just in front of you. The sea is turquoise and the food is excellent. All of this less than 2 hours away from Cartagena by boat. We took the room facing the sea and I absolutely recommend it because we have the most fantastic sunset view ever. It was amazing. We stayed 4 nights and this was the right time to truly enjoy it.

United States of AmericaThe island is quite and relaxing. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful and responsive. The star of the show was the coral and fish right at the edge of the island. You can just drop in the water and snorkel.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff who were always around to help with a smile - special thank you to Erika! Good cocktails The island is small but big enough to wander around and explore a little bit and go see the stunning sunset. 3 nights was the perfect amount of time.

Absolutely beautiful island, with wonderful staff and stunning views. There are multiple spots from which you can dive straight into the crystal blue sea. Really lovely bedrooms and great ceviche. S

United KingdomThe white knuckle boat crossing was fun but rough, apparently this is typical. Prices are a little high but you’re on an island so you’re a captive market. We’ve been surprised how little English is spike in Colombia in general, this is ok, just something for travellers to be aware of.
The room (6) was beautiful, simple and very rustic with its own sun deck and sea access. The staff were so nice and helpful. The food is good, tasty but not fussy. The colour of the water is true ‘carribean’ unlike Cartagena beaches.

IrelandWe were to stay 3 nights but we couldn't get a boat out to it as our flight landed at 13.30. So we had to cancel 1st night and stay elsewhere. No mention of limited access on booking. Very disappointed about missing one of our nights stay. Boat was very rough out. Got soaked to skin and women crying on the boat out. Lovely easier trip back to Baru and shorter.
The island is beautiful and relaxing.

CanadaNothing!
We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay! The Rosario islands are definitely a little rustic but this place was super cute and the staff were unbelievable. It was my friends birthday and they went out of their way to make it special. We did a few of the excursions and had a great time. It’s a quiet relaxing place.

AustraliaPretty overpriced all round; the accommodation, the boat there and back, and the food. They didn’t really have any snack food only meals, so I would suggest bringing your own. The shower was terrible, just a trickle of water and there was hair in the shower. They have stand up paddle boards free to use but none of them have a fin, so it’s very difficult to get anywhere. The way they allocate chairs is strange, would be better if it was first come first served. I would’ve liked if they also had table tennis, or games or balls etc.
Room was really big and pretty! Dining area was nice, food tasted good, and the island was quiet and relaxing.

United States of AmericaThe branches over the Cherna cabana made a lot of noise at night - hopefully they can be cut down. And the errant mosquito that came into the room.
Everything! Coralina Island was so relaxing and exceeded every expectation. The food was amazing, and the staff was simply outstanding - especially Erika and Dickson. They helped me make my partner's birthday special by organizing a special dinner. The room was nice; only downside was the random mosquitos that got in. There's not really a beach, but the lounge chairs around the resort are perfect.

SwitzerlandPoint for improvement would be the bed at least in our room. It was somehow a bit too small that then in combination with the mosquito net left no room really to sleep comfortably. But elsewise a really beautiful place
Hotel coralina island is an amazing place to relax and spend some time snorkelling, doing SUP or kayak and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The staff was exceptional, friendly and always very helpful. The food although on the expensive side was really good. We were staying on the calm side but had access to the beach side.

United States of AmericaA bit confusing to figure out at the beginning how to get a “good” day bed spot on the quiet side of the island. When you get dropped off, everyone gets taken to the small beach “party side” with the people that are just there for the day and we much preferred the other side. After talking with the staff though they’ll help you at least reserve a spot on the more quiet, beautiful side for the rest of your time. Once we got settled on the other side we had the most amazing 3 days and did not want to leave. I also recommend bringing your own snorkel gear, there’s so much to see! Also, they’ll come around and ask for your lunch and dinner orders a few hours before each mealtime. We were caught off guard by that the first day but then it was honestly great to preorder your meals and not have to think about it at all when you went to eat.
Stunning location, very relaxing, delicious food and amazing staff.

AustraliaNothing it was perfect!
Beautiful island that feels secluded from the other resorts. The water is crystal clear, bonus was the awesome coral and snorkelling surrounding the island. If you can fit it in your budget, book the sea view room as you have your own day beds and quiet entrance into the water. The staff are a real highlight, so lovely and kind. The food from the restaurant was pretty good too. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave
