We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Dominican RepublicThe hotel is located on a hillside, so we didn’t feel comfortable walking to and from the hotel (we always used Uber). This is a disadvantage for someone not having their own transport, or not willing to order a cab/uber.
The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, they always were cleaned on a timely fashion. The breakfast was also very good.

United Kingdomone of the receptionist was a bit abrupt. my elderly mother 90 yeas old was visiting us in the hotel and she wanted to see out room. unfortunately she was told she couldn’t go up to the room . I felt uncomfortable in that moment. I understand the hotel has rules but surely a little bit of discretion should apply sometimes.

United KingdomLocation feels a bit secluded and it's in a hilly area. Also rules about bringing guests to visit seem draconian. Whilst this is for security it was restrictive for me as a solo traveller. If your in a family or couple it's probably fine and generally catch Ubers. I checked out early and went to an airbnb which offered more freedom and more accessible location Also I'm a light sleeper and the Blackout blinds didn't really work well enough.
It's a decent enough hotel overall. Quiet area and away from the main tourist area which is why I originally chose it.
