There is no pool at the moment (April 2024, renovation?). Booking.com fails to inform about it. Talking abt compensation for lack of it took 3 talks, each one refeŕring me to sbd else, but at the end of the day, there was a solution.

Only cons: The property is remodeling some areas and pool/jacuzzi & laundry room were out of service (This was advised, not a surprise). Other than that, everything was amazing.

Clean, quiet, spacious and excellent location, about 6-8 minute ride away from El Poblado, Parque Lleras, Provenza. Staff were always very kind and well-oriented. Buffet breakfast was great.

FYI...no paper towels or dish soap provided but we always travel with our own paper towels so no big deal but no way to wash dishes. The convenience store across the street sells these things, should you need them. For those who drink coffee, take coffee pods or you will need to buy them at the front desk for the coffee maker in the room. There is hot coffee near the entrance to the restaurant, too, not sure if all day. We also took Tide pods for the washer but they probably have some laundry detergent you could use or buy. All in all, the perfect place to stay in Medillin!

Our apartment at the Sites Hotel was wonderful and we had a fabulous view from the 11th story balcony of the city and mountains, especially at night! The reception staff was very nice and spoke some English which was helpful. The entire hotel was immaculate, including our room. We had a big screen TV in our bedroom which we could watch Netflix by changing the language to English. The bed was pretty firm but we found a mattress topper in the closet for the couch bed which we used for better comfort on the nice king size bed. The AC in the bedroom could cool the whole little apartment. The bathroom has a long countertop and shelf below for all our toiletries and the large shower has a waterfall showerhead that is THE best we've had on our travels...lots of hot water and great water pressure! Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap and lotion provided. Good storage space in the closet in the bedroom closet. The hotel has a nice restaurant (our included breakfast buffet was simple but adequate) and is within walking distance of other restaurants. Prices for food were surprisingly very reasonable! There is a little convenience store across the street from the hotel. We used the small but nicely equipped gym plus washed our clothes in the washers and dryers, all on the 12th floor along with a small pool. The WiFi was decent, a definite plus. We so enjoyed our 4 nights there and would definitely stay there again!

The pool was too small, could never get a bed or a space at the pool - too busy. Restaurant not good, staff unhelpful and wouldn’t serve a drink to take to my room.

The door to our room and the door to our bathroom did not fit well and seemed broken on the bottom. Did not affect the locking of the outside door. The hotel was a little further out from where we wanted to be (my fault) and unfortunately was told not to walk to dinner at night (a 10 minute walk with three people) because it want safe. I appreciate the honesty and I guess that is what happens in all big cities!

The staff was great, very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was great. A lovely 12th floor deck with a jacuzzi pool, beautiful views of Cartegna. Also there were laundry facilities for free! We didn't use them as we were at the end of our trip but found this to be an amazing amenity! The breakfast was great with lots of fruits and then choices of eggs any style.

Biggest problem - lack of extra elevator. Last Friday was a very noisy street party in front but I understand that is very rare and wouldn't happen again.

The breakfast was rich, but lacked options for European travellers - biggest miss was bread without sugar in it - more than 5 types of bread, all containing noticeable amount of sugar. The A/C in the room was strong, but placed in the bedroom and blowing straight in my face, instead of placed in the living room.

The hotel is in the safest and greenest suburb of the city. The staff is very polite and attentive and takes care to fully meet the customer's expectations. Beautiful rooftop hot shallow swimming pool, sunbeds and gym. Walkable distance to nearest metro station and to the late night district. Very nice room structure with walk in bathroom from both bedroom and living room. Hotel made sure guests felt very safe, with non stop live security all around the hotel, which was very appreciated.

The breakfast was okay. I opted to eat at other nearby restaurants. The food needs improvement and coffee for being Columbia was very weak. But overall, give it a high rating stay.

Loved the location and nearby restaurants and other amenities including local mall. The coffee options were superb! The across the street market was a real treat given availability of detergent, water and beer. Will most likely return for another visit.
