Our Casita was too close to the road. Next time I'd ask for one further in.

The grounds were beautiful. We did a nice walk through the grounds and had a dog come up to show us the way around. The casita was clean. And it was an easy, though a large hill, walk to town.

The kitchen was pretty rustic. Pool was too cold.

The grounds around the cabanas were nice. Fun walking trail around property. Interesting birds. Liked the big black dog that was always so happy to see us on our walks. Swimming pool was nice however too cold. Breakfast was ok. Help was very nice.

I would recommend looking at the condition of the mattresses as mine was not very comfortable.

The property is well located near to the main restaurants and local shops.

The kitchen area could use a few more hooks or towel bars to hang up towels and the kitchen supplies were limited. We were able to make it all work though.

The bungalow is on a private nature reserve with pathways to explore and view the plants and birds. Lovely view from our patio . Tony helped me evaluate the Spanish language junk messages on my phone and helped us get laundry service. I liked that we had a broom and pan in order to keep our floor tidy. The refrigerator worked as did the hotplate and coffee maker. It was also very nice to have a separate bedroom rather than one big room.

Nice location close to attractions, but quiet. Staff was quick to respond and very accommodating when both my dad and I had work situations come up. I ended up taking a job interview and they set me up in a quiet spot and even brought me water during the interview. My dad had to record a podcast and they did the same, even though we’d already checked out. If we hadn’t had a flight out the next day, we would have stayed longer

Beds are pretty soft and a bit uncomfortable but fine for a night.

Cute little cottage, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Felt extremely welcome by the great receptionist who proceeded to help us with reservations for night walk and cloud forest tour.

Staying here was fantastic! The property is beautiful. My bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. I saw many interesting animals while sitting on my veranda. A sloth and her baby were sleeping in the trees behind my cabana! There's a lovely little grocery across the street. I could walk to town if I needed to. Tony and his family were so helpful and supportive. I will recommend staying here to everyone who goes to Costa Rica!

Some of the cutlery and implements in the kitchen were dirty when we arrived. Pool could have been cleaner.

Really lovely location with nice walks around the property and the kids loved the maze. Tony at reception was great and helped to organise a night tour for us.

The property is beautiful and big enough to make a small walk around. There are so many animals living there it’s a pleasure to observe them there. Equipment, facilities and staff are perfect !

Not enough dishes and cutlery. The tub was not clean. Too many dogs and dirtbike noise.

Very good breakfast, lovely dining set up and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the trail on the property with information plaques. Lastly, the office reception staff were helpful and welcoming.

The WIFI was slow, a little difficult to send or receive messages but we did manage. A portable patio umbrella would have been very useful, we stayed in Cabin 4 and there was practically no shade when sitting outside in the afternoon. But a great spot for someone who loves the sun 😎

Nice and close to Santa Elena, the grounds were well kept, lots of beautiful trees and flowers, nice trail and most of all nice and quiet :)

Nothing at all really. The only thing my partner commented on was the towels were a bit scratchy.

The property was set off a small main road which was quiet. Had its own grounds to walk around and we even had a sloth behind our bungalow. We arrived earlier than anticipated and Melissa who checked us in was amazing showing us the sloth and helping us with transportation as we where only there for two nights and organised a taxi for us to get to Monte Verde national park the next morning very early. The pool was clam and relaxing. ( only got to dip my feet in as it was a cool day though) the bungalow itself was lovely.. the bathroom was amazing massive walk in shower. Little open planned dining room/ kitchen with a living room also with table, chairs and two small sofas. It’s not completely in the centre. Say a 15 min walk up some steep hills but that means it’s all downhill on the way back after a long day! we prefer staying a little out anyhow.

Very welcoming and helpful staff at the front desk. The cottages were very clean and also private on beautiful grounds! Nice quiet area with lots of birds and even a private 3 km walking trail out back.

Good location if you have a car, however, if you are walking the town is quite hilly and you may find it challenging to explore the downtown area.

Very friendly staff that helped us arrange a ride back to San Jose. They have some onsite trails to walk around the property to enjoy nature and maybe a visit by the neighbour's friendly dog. There is a pool but we didn't use. Nice family run establishment.

Some cabins had a precarious parking spot so be careful if you have a big car

The location was great and the staff was very nice. You’re surrounded by beautiful landscaping and the rooms were really cozy and comfortable. They grow their own coffee on the property that is amazing as well.

No complaints

The location is perfect...close to restaurants and shops but very private and peaceful. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a choice of three meals which you order the night before. We would be happy to go back.
