Minor issue, but the breakfast would benefit from a review .

We really enjoyed our stay, the seascape and beach error is wild and beautiful. While I was there I had a health problem and the hotel's response was amazing. They could not have been more helpful, in particular, Gabrielle, a member of the night staff was exceptional. The problem was minor in the scale of things, but a huge thank you to Gabrielle and other staff members.

Nice room in the forest. We saw monkeys one of the days. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Nice pool and sunset at the beach next door. Great farm to the table tour with amazing food. Strongly advise it Very good fondation and yoga classes.

Staff was pleasant, but could be more attentive in terms of coming around for drink and food orders. We often had to seek them out.

These do not out way the positives by any means. But since you asked... Possibly the worst coffee we've ever had from a 4-5 star hotel. No "Do Not Disturb" signs for rooms. And a narrow housecleaning regiment that doesn't account for late afternoon, evening issues. And the breakfast was good - not great. Some of the offerings we found lacking, but I'm being overly picky.

The location was wonderful. Very short walk to a not-so-crowded beach. The surrounding "jungle" was teaming with birds, coatis, howler monkeys and cats. The pool, the cocktails were great. The shower in our room was magnificent. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

They seem to let people who aren’t staying in the hotel use the pool? There were some very noisy American children there on 1 day who were ex pats from the USA. A sea view would be perfect but difficult to achieve and sea was only a short walk away.

More yoga times....not so early!

Pool was a great temperature and open 24 hours! Nice to do night swims. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Always different, local choices, which I like. French press coffee, omelettes , huevos rancheros, and pancakes, all make to order. Different juices each morning. Complimentary Cocktails at sunset (5:00 when we were there) down at the beach. Nice, tropical landscaping. Beautiful rooms. Very friendly front desk staff and servers. The room had both a ceiling fan and an airconditioner that was able to keep up the humidity. Beds comfortable. Plenty of beach towels. We had a car, otherwise 20 minute walk to town. Some nice restaurants near by. At at hotel for dinner twice. Amazing ceviche prepared with our caught Mahi Mahi.
