A nice well taken care property with good hot shower and comfortable bed. Very warm helpful staff that attends to your needs. It’s also a great place for Hummingbirds as they have a lot of feeder’s all over the property, perfect place for birder and children too. Ofcause, their restaurant food is top notch especially the steaks.

Very close to road and a bit noisy with thin walls

Close to paos volcano and la Paz waterfall. We arrived right after our flight to start our trip.

The location near the Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall was ideal. The steak dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The property has a pleasant mountain lodge aesthetic.

The staff change the room I booked without consulting me , it was a smaller room. And their intention as nice as it was completely ruined what I was planning, I also had paid for Valentines Decoration and they changed the location I booked because the lady in charge of the decoration did not knew how to decorate the larger facility which I had originally booked, so they took the liberty of moving us to a much smaller cheaper room , I was not ok with this so they gave us back the room we booked without any decoration as they did it on the other room and still I was charge for it

The receptionist lady on the 27th in the evening was extremely nice and welcoming - gracias! The hotel is a good option if you want to stay in this area. We had breakfast included, even tho booking reservation didn’t have it as a highlight

Ventilation can be improved. We understand that most windows cannot be opened because of the cold and humidity but mechanical ventilation and air renewal would be great.

Location is excellent to visit both Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfall. Staff very friendly and excellent breakfast! Rooms were clean.

Since the hotel is located on a corner of two main intersections, it is a little noisy, but not horrible.

Rooms were nice, loved the little heater, which we used quite often. The town of Poasito is full of cute places.

The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses, but their quality is acceptable considering the price of the room.

We were particularly pleased by the warm welcome of the staff. They were extremely helpful and took the time to give us advice regarding the rest of our trip. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this hotel for people who want to visit Poás volcano since it is nearby.

We stayed for 3 nights which was great for calming down from our one year travel but know that there isn't much to do except for the volcano, waterfall and maybe coffee farm. Also: We didn't have a car and it's rather hard to get around there by bus. We took an Uber up the Volcano and walked back down (2,5 hours). It is a great place if you have a car and want to stay for 1 or 2 nights for nature. But without a car and no intention of just have a few calm days.. it is a location where you can't really do a lot. So if the location is great or not completely depends on how you want to spend your days.

They got new Wifi a few days before we arrived and we had no problem with it at all! Good connection and reliable. The room was very clean and the food in the restaurant good. The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot. We could also wash our clothes there.

Very cold at night. It is extremely comlpicated to adjust the water in the shower for the proper temperature. Breakfast was too basic. It was a little bit noisy due to the cars/trucks passing by at night.

Location close to Poas Volcano. Had a cosy evening while firing the chimney. Parking close to the apartment.

the beds are not that comfy. no hand towels.

The people who run this place are amazingly helpful and accommodating. I cannot say enough about them. they arranged an early morning car to take me to the airport and packed me a breakfast.
