As the room was almost like a chalet,It was a pity that the downstairs didn't have a bit more equipment like a coffee maker or some cutlery to make eating at home more homely, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Luis, and his brothers were hosting us in a most friendly way, helping us out as we needed a doctor, assisted in planning activities and offering transportation at sharp prices. Wonderful typical breakfast, made on spot and with a view on the hummingbird feeders. We had a very spacious room, more like a duplex apartment

i loved the location and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable to stay in. Staff were super friendly and helped us with tours and gave great advice while we stayed in Monteverde.

Laundry weighs more than you think it does!

This Hotel was in a great central location, next to some nice restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery. It was not far to the nature reserves and the famous sunset viewing point. Miguel th ehost was very nice and helpful.

can get a bit noisy at night would have been great to have mosquito nets on the windows to be able to get some fresh air at night (we opened ours but all sorts of bugs joined us during the evening)

It's a lovely hotel with beautiful flowers and plants and nice clean rooms. But the thing that REALLY makes this hotel special is the staff. Incredibly kind and welcoming, Miguel was especially wonderful with our baby daughter and we were all so sad to say goodbye at the end of our stay. Thank you Miguel for being such a legend.

the manager Miguel give us a super nice and quiet room where we spent 3nights. the room has a very neat yard with lime trees and Mountain View. The room has all what we need. After rain we saw a big rainbow. Lots of Limes fall on the ground in the backyard. Miguel is super nice, speaks good English and knows everything about the locals. He assisted us to made plans, served the breakfast, helped checked in and check out and made a reservation in the restaurant. He does everything. we were so glad to booked this lovely hotel met Miguel. we highly recommend it.

The centre of town is a very hilly walk away. Not easy for younger kids or if you are hauling luggage, but not a problem if you have your own vehicle, which we did. Rooms were basic but clean and there was no heat in our 5 person room - it was a bit chilly in the mornings (last week in February). The wind was loud on the roof but we learned that this is true everywhere in Monteverde! There was some construction happening under our room that was a bit disturbing the first night, but presumably this won't last forever. Otherwise a really great stay!

Miguel (our host) was amazing, very helpful and always available. Nice, well kept property in easy (3 minutes?) walking distance to a small grocery and a good local restaurant. Great place if you have a car as there is free parking. We had a really cute balcony and a clean and comfortable room - 1 single bed for each of our 3 kids and a double for us parents.

There only thing we can mention here is that the room has no heating (in general not common in this area). The nights can get cold but there are additional blankets so it was totally ok.

Miguel was a super nice and outstanding host and helped us with transfers and whatever we needed! The Hotel is quite nice, not super super central but nice though because there is not a lot of traffic arround. It takes about an 10 min walk downtown. The room was huge as we had a family room 😅 It was super clean and there was hot water. Breakfast was typical and quite good. We can totally recommend this accomodation.

Miguel was brilliant. (on reception). within 30 minutes or arrival (late evening) he had organised our itinerary with a number of phone calls and booked dinner for us. NOTHING was too much trouble. he was there the following morning at 6.45 to see we got breakfast and we’re on our way to our first guided walk at 7.30. oh - and the room and breakfast were great!
